Wine, Cider & Spirits on the Island (4.5 - 5 hours)
This tour is not available on evening calls to Victoria.
Board an air-conditioned mini-bus and travel through the country side for approximately 40 minutes to the Sea Cider House.
Learn about cider making on a walking tour, wander through the artists' gallery and then seek out your favorite edibles to take home with you from the selections in the pantry. Relax and enjoy the spectacular orchard-to-ocean view from the Ciderhouse and deck. Sit at the long "conversation tables" while sipping some hand-crafted organic cider.
After an approximate one-hour visit, re-board the bus for a short transfer to Vancouver Island's largest wine estate, Church & State Winery.
Enjoy an approximate one-hour visit of the estate, including a tour and tasting of local production of wines paired with different cheese, smoked meats and chocolate. After the tasting at the wrap-around bar, peruse the gift shop for great wine accessories or soak in the sweeping views of the Okanagan on one of the 2 patios.
After your tasting and shopping, re-board the bus for another short transfer through rolling hills, ocean views and sublime orchard settings to Victoria Spirits, their very own spirit maker.
Learn about this unique company and their most famous product: Victoria Gin. Taste some of the production during an informative one-hour visit. Additional production includes vodka, bitters, whisky and wine.
Conclude this "party for the senses," re-board your coach and travel approximately 30 minutes back to the pier.

Afternoon Tea at Butchart Gardens (4 - 4.5 hours)
Board a motor coach and travel approximately 30 minutes through Victoria on your way to Butchart Gardens, a world famous National Historic Site of Canada.
Take in Victoria's Chinatown, Marine Drive and Olde Towne during a scenic drive fully narrated by your driver-guide.
Once at Butchart Gardens, enjoy approximately 75-minutes of self-guided touring. See how Jennie Butchart transformed a worked out quarry site left behind by her husband's cement business into a 55 acre display garden that is considered one of the world's best known horticultural attractions. Still privately owned, the Gardens have become a family commitment to horticulture and hospitality, spanning over 100 years. From the exquisite Sunken Gardens to the harming Rose Garden, this show garden still maintains the gracious tradition, in one of the loveliest corners of the world. Note: this tour includes approximate 1.5 miles of walking over level pathways, paving stones or gravel terrain, part of which could be stairs or cobblestones. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.
Meet at the main dining room for a traditional tea service on the best Victorian style. A variety of petit-four style options, cakes, house-made sweets, salads, vegetables and sandwiches will be available for your enjoyment.
Peruse the local shop for souvenirs or take some additional photos before re-boarding your motor coach and traveling back to the pier.

Butchart & Butterfly Gardens (4 - 4.5 hours)
Board an air-conditioned bus and travel approximately 30 minutes to the Victoria Butterfly Gardens.
Enjoy an approximate 50-minute special tour for the entire family, as you stroll in the warm atmosphere of the Victoria Butterfly Gardens. Learn about the life of a butterfly while you wonder amidst the lushness of this unique garden setting. Craigdarroch Castle & City Highlights (3 - 3.5 hours)
Board an air-conditioned bus and travel through the city for approximately 50 minutes. From the comfort of your coach, pass by scenic marine drive, Beacon Hill Park, Legislative Buildings, the Inner Harbor, the famous Empress Hotel, Antique Row and one of Victoria's oldest neighborhoods.
Arrive at the parking area, where you'll walk approximately 100 yards to the entrance of Craigdarroch Castle, one of Victoria British Columbia's "must see" attractions. Craigdarroch was built between 1887-1890 by Robert Dunsmuir, a Scottish immigrant who made his fortune from Vancouver Island coal. This legendary Victorian mansion, built on a hill overlooking the City of Victoria (Craigdarroch means "rocky, oak place" in Gaelic) announced to the world that Robert Dunsmuir was the richest and most important man in Western Canada. He died in 1889, leaving his entire estate to his wife Joan who lived in the Castle until her death in 1908. Note: Guests will tour the castle climbing up 87 stairs at your own pace throughout the 4 stories. There are no elevators.
Be welcomed into the home by costumed servants. Tour the home for approximately one hour and listen as the servants tell you the story of the Dunsmuir family. The immense fortune of the Dusnmuir Family is reflected in the 4 floors of exquisite stained glass windows, intricate woodwork and fabulous Victorian era furnishings.
Enjoy cookies and cider, served to welcome you as a guest in the home.
Walk to the bus, re-board and continue your narrated scenic tour back to the pier.

-Guests must be able to climb up to 87 stairs to visit all 4 stories of the Castle. This tour is not recommended for Guests with limited mobility.

Creatures of the Air & Sea (4 - 4.5 hours)
Board an air-conditioned bus and travel approximately 30 minutes to the Victoria Butterfly Gardens.
Enjoy an approximate one-hour special tour for the entire family, as you stroll in the warm atmosphere of the Victoria Butterfly Gardens. Learn about the life of a butterfly while you wonder amidst the lushness of this unique garden setting. Many different types of butterflies will flit past you as you discover facts about their lifecycle, lifespan and dwellings.
Re-board the bus and travel to the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre for approximately 20 minutes.
There, stay dry while you visit the bottom of the surrounding Salish Sea to discover the creatures that live below in the oceans. Get up close to one of the touch pools, explore microscopic sea life or tour the Galley of the Drifters – the one-hour visit is yours to enjoy!
Re-board the bus and travel back to the pier.

Grand City Tour & Empress Tea (3 - 3.5 hours)
Board an air-conditioned bus and travel through the city for approximately one hour.
See some of the main Victoria sites, including scenic marine drive, Beacon Hill Park, Legislative Building, the Inner Harbor, the famous Empress Hotel, Antique Row, one of Victoria's oldest neighborhoods and much more. Listen to the stories of old and new, told by your well-versed driver-guide as you are toured through the quaint city.
Arrive at the famous Empress Hotel for a traditional tea service. Enjoy fine pastries and sweets, savory sandwiches and the unique atmosphere and history. It is a must-do for those who want to experience a long upheld tradition, 'the taking of Tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria'.
Complete your approximate one-hour visit to the Empress Hotel and take the short transfer back to the pier.

Horse-Drawn Trolley Tour (1 - 1.5 hours)
Begin at pier, where you will board an open-sided, fully horse-drawn trolley. Your trolley will be pulled by 2 majestic Percherons or Clydesdale horses.
Wind along a scenic waterfront drive past the splendor of the Olympic Mountain range across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. You will get a view of Beacon Hill Park, Victoria's largest groomed park which is situated in the heart of the city.
Ride through one of the original neighborhoods of Victoria, which has its Craftsman style homes and narrow streets. You will also have a view of the Inner Harbour, the grand Legislative Buildings and the world-renowned Empress Hotel. This tour is approximately 1-hour long, which will leave you lots of time to take another tour or wander around British Colombia's charming capital city.
Conclude your tour back at the pier.

-The 2-horse-drawn trolley seats 20 Guests with bench seating capacity for 4 Guests per bench. Trolleys are open sided with a canvas cover. Large warm blankets are provided, one per bench seat.
-Guests suffering of asthma and epilepsy are discouraged from participating on this tour.
-Guests should be able to negotiate a one-foot step onto the trolley.

Ocean Wildlife & Orca Exploration (3 - 3.5 hours)
Take a short 5-minute transfer to a nearby marina aboard a bus.
Board a high speed Catamaran or a single-hulled vessel that will take you on an ocean adventure in search of wildlife. Wildlife sightings may include seals, porpoise, dolphins and even Orcas. You may also catch a glimpse of eagles, great blue herons and many other water birds.
Scour the waters surrounding Vancouver Island for approximately 140 minutes in search of Orcas. Note: While common, whale sightings cannot be guaranteed, since they can travel up to 100 miles a day in any direction.
Return to marina, board the transfer bus and arrive back at the pier.
-This tour is not available after August 26 due to the lack of daylight. -Wheelchairs (collapsible or electric) are not permitted. Tour operators will deny participation to Guests arriving in wheelchairs or electric scooters. -Guests who suffer from any neck or back injuries and Guests who are pregnant are discouraged from participating on this tour.

Private Carriage Tour (1.5 - 2 hours)
Board a horse-drawn private carriage at the pier and start your tour. Note: carriages will seat up to 6 Guests. Only one ticket should be booked.
Depart from the pier and travel through some of the nearby highlights of this charming city. Ride through one of Victoria's original neighborhoods and delight with the sight of Craft homes and narrow streets.
Experience the hustle of the modern day city from a carefree perspective as a Guest aboard a beautiful white Princess-style carriage. You'll be drawn past the capital city's Legislative Buildings. Enjoy the view from the Inner Harbour across the street.
Enjoy an optional 15-minute stop in Beacon Hill Park.
Conclude your approximate one-hour ride back at the pier.

-Guests must be able to negotiate a 2-foot step onto the carriage.
-Guests should book only one ticket and advise the Port Adventures team onboard the ship as to their party size.

Victoria Vintage Double Decker Tour (1 - 1.5 hours)
Board a classic English-style, double-decker bus at the pier.
Enjoy approximately one hour of sightseeing around Victoria from the vantage point of the top of the double-decker bus.
Pass through Beacon Hill Park, the Legislative Buildings, the Inner Harbor and the famous Empress Hotel. You will also see Chinatown and parts of Victoria's Olde Town.
Conclude your tour with an optional stay in town, for shopping or sightseeing, or choose to stay aboard to end your tour back at the pier. Note: Guests choosing to end their tour in town will be responsible for making their own way back to pier.
-Wheelchairs need to be standard size and collapsible; no electric wheelchairs/scooters are permitted. Guests must be able to board and disembark the vehicle on their own.

Waterfront Walking Tour (1.5 - 2 hours)
Meet your local, knowledgeable guide at the dock and walk along one mile of sidewalks and waterfront boardwalks to scenic downtown Victoria.
Stop first at Fisherman's Wharf, which is a renowned tourist destination in Victoria. Explore the quaint community and feed the resident seals that may be visiting. There is a bathroom break and a chance to purchase refreshments on the wharf.
See homes and hotels built at the water's edge, plus gardens, flowers and trees such as arbutus and weeping sequoia. Get a peek at some very fancy condominiums and scout some of Victoria's hotels, restaurants and gift shops along the way. Watch the ferries, kayakers, float planes and boats that make the Victoria Inner Harbour accessible to everyone.
Stop to learn some history about the B.C. Legislature buildings, listen to the music of the carillon bells and enjoy the talent of buskers.
See the grand Empress Hotel and hear its history including its famous High Tea ceremony.
Arrive at your last stop at the Victoria's visitor center, which provides a chance to get some excellent information about what to do, see and experience in this amazing city. At the conclusion of the guided walk you are free to continue exploring on your own. A shuttle ticket is included so you may return to the pier at your leisure.
