The fun begins in May and continues all summer long.


Sawdust Art Festival
June 27 - August 31, 2014
See more than 200 Laguna Beach artists exhibit and sell their original artwork including jewelry, ceramics and textiles. See artist's demonstrations; attend complimentary art classes and children's art activities. There are three stages for entertainment, cafes and a saloon.


Independence Day at Disneyland!

July 1 - 4, 2014

“Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will be featured July 1st through July 4th at Disneyland, plus on the 4th there's a patriotic Independence Day pre-show for World of Color over at Disney California Adventure featuring video, water effects, lighting and fireworks!

The 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band will perform several times on July 4th:

  • Prior to the 3:30pm Mickey's Soundsational Parade
  • 5:30pm Flag Retreat Ceremony
  • 5:45pm along the parade route following the Flag Retreat
  • 7:15pm concert at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree

Summer Jazz Series - Hyatt Newport Beach
(All summer through early October)
Hyatt Newport Beach Amphitheater, on the Golf Course
Hosted by The Wave 94.7, this event features the smooth sounds of jazz artists.


Orange County Fair/Costa Mesa
July 11 - August 10, 2014
The annual Orange County Fair is the premier family attraction in Southern California offering a wide variety of exhibits, foods, entertainment, rides and hands-on activities.

Meet artists Jasmine Becket-Griffith and Noah from 11am to 1pm on July 12 at the WonderGround Gallery in Downtown Disney.

Becket-Griffith will also be appearing from 2pm to 5pm each day.

D23 Expo

August 14 - 16, 2015

Tickets for the 2015 D23 Expo will go on sale beginning 08/14/2014.

Celebrate all things Disney as the D23 Expo once again takes over the Anaheim Convention Center.  As always, the event will feature the Disney Legend Awards, the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives Exhibit, panels, presentations and celebrity appearances.

Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend
August 29 - 31, 2014

Be a part of the Happiest Races on Earth at the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, including the Disneyland Half Marathon, Disneyland 10K and Family Fun Run 5K.  Participants may also combine the Half Marathon and 10K and receive a Dumbo Double Dare medal.

Dapper Day - An Evening Affair

September 12, 2014

This annual unofficial event is a time for guests to wear their Sunday-best to Disneyland.  According to organizers, Dapper Day is about experiencing the upscale escape of Disneyland filled with fashionable guests ready for fun.  The Fall event is held from 6:00pm until Midnight.  There is also an full-day event held in the Spring.


Toshiba Tall Ships Festival
September 5 - 7, 2014

The Tall Ships Festival is the largest annual gathering of tall ships on the West Coast. The festival will feature a spectacular array of family fun activities including live music, art & craft shows, exciting living-history demonstrations plus a variety of tasty food options on Saturday and Sunday, following the evening parade of ships on Friday night.

This ‘private’ party at Disneyland Park is open only to special ticket holders and features exclusive viewings of Halloween Screams fireworks, but the great part is anyone can purchase tickets. 

Familiar attractions, live music, treat stations for the little ones and creepy crafts are just a few activities available during the party. You never know who you’ll run into on these special nights. Oh and don’t forget to wear your Halloween costumes so you can join Mickey's Costume Party Cavalcade!

CHOC/Disneyland Resort Walk in the Park - 5K Walk
October 12, 2014
The annual CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County) 5K walk to raise money for CHOC will give walkers unique opportunity to walk through Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure before they officially open for the day. After the Walk, festivities will be underway in Downtown Disney District, where shops, restaurants and booths will offer more fun for everyone! In addition, the Disneyland Resort will offer to walkers with wristbands a specially priced 1-day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper ticket to return to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.


Haunted House Building Workshop

2014 dates to be announced

Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen Chef Darren Finkel will lead an interactive (gingerbread) Haunted House building demonstration followed by guided assembly and decorating. The workshop starts at noon and the cost (for two guests) is $48 and includes house, candy decor and unlimited sodas.  Reservations for the event can be made on the Jazz Kitchen Facebook page.

Hundreds of tuba and euphonium players will gather to perform holiday music in this annual event.  A performance is scheduled to take place near ESPN Zone at 1:00pm.

Three Kings' Day

2015 dates to be announced

The Disneyland Resort celebrates Three Kings' Day with special decor and entertainment showcasing Western and Mexican heritage.  Highlights include characters in their fiesta finest, plus performances by the Mariachi Divas and the Ballet Folklorico Dancers.

For 2014, the event moves to Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure as part of Viva Navidad.



Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend

January 15 - 18, 2015

This new race weekend will feature a half marathon, 10K, 5K, kids races, Wookiee Welcome Party, an Expo, plus the Rebel Challenge for racers of both the Half Marathon and 10K.


Grand National Roadster Show/Pomona

2015 dates to be announced

This annual event held at the Fairplex in Pomona features over 500 show vehicles competing for awards, plus several hundred more "hobby" cars.


Cambria Annual Art & Wine Festival

2015 dates to be announced

Wine tastings featuring over 30 local wineries plus an art show and silent auction highlight this annual event.

The Happy Lunar New Year Celebration in Disney California Adventure is a tribute to the time-honored traditions, festivities and ceremonies of this multi-cultural occasion.  The Paradise Gardens area will come to life with a Chinese dragon dance troupe, lion dancers, Vietnamese dance groups and Korean dance groups. You'll be able to meet your favorite Disney characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Chip 'n' Dale, Mulan and Mushu.  Guests will also have the chance to make their own paper lanterns, discover their Zodiac animals and write wishes of good fortune to their family and friends.

This week long event in scenic Laguna Beach, showcases prominent and promising musicians.  Mainstage concerts are held at the Laguna Playhouse. Informal concerts and other music-based activities are held at hotels, museums and restaurants throughout the city.

Restaurants around the Disneyland Resort will offer special menus for Valentine's Day.


Celebrate Gospel

2015 date to be announced

Disney California Adventure welcomes 15 local gospel choirs from around Southern California in this annual concert.  Performances will be from 11:00am to 12:45pm and 1:45pm to 6:30pm inside Stage 17 in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot.


Queen Mary Scottish Festival

2015 dates to be announced

Celebrate the Scottish heritage of the Queen Mary at this unique Long Beach event.  Entertainment includes piping and dancing competitions, Highland games, sheep herding demonstrations and parades, plus merchandise, food and spirits.


Disneyana Collectible Expo

2015 dates to be announced

The Disneyana Fan Club hosts their Collectible Expo at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Garden Grove featuring collectibles and products, old and new. The event will be held from 10am to 5pm and costs $6 to attend.  Discounted admisison coupons are available on their website.

Festival of the Whales at Dana Point

It's the time of the year that the whales make their annual trip down south. Don't miss the Annual Street Fair, which is part of the Whale Festival with a weekend of fun, food, entertainment.

The Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree will be decked out in flowers for the Springtime Roundup.  Guests will be able to meet some of their favorite Disney characters, including the Easter Bunny (and oher famous Disney rabbits).  The fun will also include egg art demonstrations, crafts, treats and music.

Knott's Berry Bloom returns with larger-than-life displays of spring colors, family-friendly activities, gourmet food and wine tasting.  New for 2014 is the Ghost Town Boysenberry Festival, featuring boysenberry inspired products and games, plus a recreation of Knott's original roadside boysenberry stand.

Carleston Circle is the home to Peanuts Party in the Park and new this year, Bloomination, a nightime dance party featuring a DJ playing the latest music, plus butterfly stilt walkers prancing through the crowd.

Camp Snoopy will feature the Easter Beagle's Enourmous Egg Hunt, with interactive prize location for kids 3 to 11.

Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend

May 7 - 10, 2015

This half marathon focused on women will take you through the Disneyland Resort and the streets of Anaheim, California. Each finisher receives an exclusive Tinker Bell-inspired medal, long-sleeve tech shirt, goody bag, and more! Other events during the weekend include the Never Land Family Fun Run 5K, the Tinker Bell 10K, kids races and an Expo.

Star Wars Unofficial Fan Day

2015 date to be announced

What started out as a protest about the lack of Star Wars Weekends at Disneyland is now in its 9th year.  Fans will be meeting for lunch at Pizza Port, attending Jedi Training Academy, then meeting at 2pm for a group photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.  Costumes are not allowed, but Star Wars shirts are encouraged.  Event t-shirts are also available on the Fan Day website with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society.
