Which Disney parks around the world have you visited: WDW

Date of first Disney Trip: 1972

# of Disney Trips: 7

First Disney Attraction and reaction to it: I remember being scared silly of the heads on the wall in Country Bear Jamboree, I remember the flower carts on Main Street, which are sadly gone and I remember the hitch-hiking ghosts in the Haunted Mansion. I went twice as a child, shortly after WDW opened in 1971 and didnt visit again until my honeymoon in 1992, but there are some
sights and sounds that I recall 30 years later, that give me that warm fuzzy feeling - you know, the one you cant explain to anyone who doesnt "get" the Disney spirit.

Fav. Park and why: I love them all for different reasons, but Animal Kingdom is my favorite.

Fav. Attraction and why: Pirates of the Caribbean, followed closely by Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin.

Fav. Show and why: Festival of the Lion King - the best of what Disney does better than anyone - puts on a show.

Fav. Resort and why: Our most recent stay was at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I have enjoyed all the resorts we have stayed at.

Fav. Restaurant and why: Chef Mickeys good food and plenty of it - lots and lots of fun.

Fav. Snack at WDW: Mickey shaped rice krispie treat with chocolate ears.

Fav. Disney Tip:  You dont have to rush for the gates at the official closing time. Linger in the park and browse through the shops. Enjoy the lights and sounds of the park after dark - and the special bonus time with your family when no one is in a rush to get somewhere else.

Fav. Disney Magical Moment/ Most Memorable Experience: There are so many
it is hard to pick just one, so I will quickly list a few from our most
recent visit: When my Dad got to sing with the Dapper Dans at MK, the look on my little girls face when she saw her hero, Minnie Mouse, in person for the first time, the joy of my boys when they both passed the height requirements for Spl Mt and Test Tr. for the first time, riding Dumbo during the fireworks at MK and finding the special surprises left in our room by Mickey and friends on my sons Birthday.

Words of Wisdom: I have never met, face to face, a single person on the DIS. But there are so many of you that I feel like I know. The DIS is truly a special place. Thanks to all who have worked so hard to make it so.
