Which Disney parks around the world have you visited: Walt Disney World, Florida is the only one - so far!

Date of first Disney Trip: March 1st 1995

# of Disney Trips:

First Disney Attraction and reaction to it: Peter Pan's flight, and I thought it was pretty average! It's since become one of our family's favourite rides, but that first time I was just so overwhelmed by having stepped into the Magic Kingdom for the first time that the rides were a bit of an anti-climax!

Fav. Park and why: Epcot because there's so much variety.

Fav. Attraction and why: That's a really tough question, but I think I'll go for Spaceship Earth as, for me, it embodies all that typifies the Disney experience.

Fav. Show and why: Why: Festival of the Lion King - so much energy, fantastic performers and an all-round first class production!

Fav. Resort and why: Dixie Landings (or Port Orleans Riverside as it now is). I love the laid-back feel to this resort, the food court suits the family really well, the boat-ride to Downtown Disney is a real plus, and the fishing keeps DH happy! We've just joined DVC, so I'm hoping we'll love those resorts as much as DxL.

Fav. Restaurant and why: It's become a family tradition that we have breakfast in Tony's Town Square Restaurant on our first morning in the Magic Kingdom each trip, so I have to pick that as my favourite because it has many special memories.

Fav. Snack at WDW: Churros from Mexico (although I still haven't tried Beaver Tails!)

Fav. Disney Tip:  Nothing very original here, I'm afraid, but I think it's worth repeating: Stay on site, make use of early entry, take a break in the middle of the day and return to a different park for the late afternoon and evening. We feel as though we get much more from our day by park-hopping than if we'd stayed in the same park all day, but we couldn't keep going without a break. Early entry means we can do the rides and attractions without waiting in line, then we can take the rest of the day at a more leisurely pace to 'experience' the parks.

Fav. Disney Magical Moment/ Most Memorable Experience:If I can only have one, then I think I'd pick DD2's 8th birthday on Easter Saturday in 1997, which we spent in the Magic Kingdom. It was a great way for her to spend her birthday, but also a brilliant day for the whole family. I'm determined to have my birthday there one year!

Words of Wisdom: Live for today - you never know what lies ahead.
