Which
Disney parks around the world have you visited:
Just WDW, unless you count the Disney Cruise Line.
Date of first Disney Trip: December,
1997
# of Disney Trips: 8
First Disney Attraction and reaction to it:
WDW Railroad. It wasn't my idea to ride it,
but I have to say I really enjoyed it! That
is the most relaxing 20 minutes at the Magic Kingdom!
Fav. Park and why: I like EPCOT because it
is a great place to watch people, which is one
of my favorite pastimes.
Fav. Attraction and why: Tomorrowland
Speedway is my favorite because I love to drive
and it is peaceful putting along the course (until
someone that doesn't get the idea runs into the
back of me!).
Fav. Show and why: Tapestry of Nations
is my favorite right now. It is so easy to
get caught up in the beautiful music and marvel
at each puppet. These are such works of art!
Fav. Resort and why: This is a toughie.
I think I have to pick All-Star Movies. The
themeing at this resort is simply incredible!
Fav. Restaurant and why: Are we being
graded? This is another tough question.
I guess I would say the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk.
I love sports and the food is pretty good and very
reasonably priced. (Hey - I'm the Budget Board
moderator - did you expect the California Grill?)
Fav. Snack at WDW: Beef Jerky.
Before you say they don't have beef jerky at WDW,
I know that. I bring it with me. Sorry,
I haven't made it to the beavertail stand yet.
Fav. Disney Tip: WDW isn't going to close
next week. Don't try to do everything in one
trip.

Disney Magical Moment/ Most Memorable Experience:
My first trip was during the holidays. I purchased
the headband with antlers and Mickey ears.
As we were watching the parade during Mickey's Very
Merry Christmas Party, one of the reindeer in the
parade came up to me and tugged at the antlers and
put his hooves on his hips (do reindeer have hips?)
as if to ask: Who do you think you are? It
would have been a great Kodak moment, but I'm the
family photographer, so it wasn't captured
for posterity.
Words of Wisdom: I have to take this opportunity
to thank Pete and John for providing this forum
where we can share our experience. But most
important, I want to thank them for providing a
place where wonderful people can come together and
form friendships. I have met some wonderful
people (some face to face) through this site and
have made some very good friends - including Pete
and John. Thanks guys!
