You don’t expect to attend the upcoming D23 Expo and leave empty-handed, do you? What about empty-headed? It was announced last month that the Disney Dream Store would be returning for this year’s expo, taking place July 14th – 16th, bringing with them some brand new merchandise. The Disney Parks Blog just released some photos that will help us decide on just what wearable keepsakes will be adorning our noggins as we wander the Expo.
Let’s say you find yourself with a full week in the Disney Parks. You can’t show up wearing the same thing every day, can you? Sure, you changed your clothes, but what about your ears? Don’t worry, the Disney Dream Store will be selling mouse-eared headbands with interchangeable bows:
This starter headband comes with its own sequined bow, and looks great on its own. The real beauty of it, though, is that the bow detaches so you may clip on another at one of three places on the band. When the collection is officially released in Disney Parks, this fall, there will be ten available bows. At the Expo, you’ll be able to purchase six individually-sold bows.
That’s all fine and good, but what if you’re the type who likes to find one personal thing you really like, and wear it every day? Maybe something that reminds you of a great experience, like the amazing time you had at the D23 Expo in 2017? A specially designed ear-hat is just what you need:
Ok, so we have ear-hats and ear-headbands covered. Maybe you are like me though, and want a regular hat you can wear anywhere but still celebrate your favorite attraction. Something long-lasting and durable, leather perhaps. Well-themed too, maybe with a gift-box…
There it is! A 50th anniversary Pirates of the Caribbean hat. As the Disney Parks Blog describes it: “Presented in a decorative treasure box, this hat will contain a pirate-themed metal medallion, and will have an edition size of 230.”
Regardless of how you decorate your dome, the Disney Dream Store will have plenty of options for you at the 2017 D23 Expo. Keep checking in with us as we fill you in on all the exciting Expo developments.
