Epcot Celebrates 35 Years with Some Special Treats

In honor of Epcot‘s 35th anniversary today, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival features 35 Global Marketplaces this year, but in addition chefs have recreated some guest favorites. They’ve also come up with some special cupcakes that are all available beginning today.

At the Epcot Legacy Showplace, guests can flash back to the 1980s and enjoy a new version of the Handwich, which was once on the menu at The Land Pavilion. This update features zesty cheeseburger and cheddar cheese macaroni.

The Chilled Scotch Egg has been on the menu in the United Kingdom Pavilion since opening day, but now guests will also be able to enjoy it at the Epcot Legacy Showplace.

At Fountain View, guests can find the Spaceship Earth Cupcake [above], with yellow cake, strawberry pastry cream filling, and a dome of cake covered in silver fondant.

The Flower Pot Cupcake, with vanilla cake, plus peanut butter and jelly filling, topped with edible flowers is available at Sunshine Seasons.

The Norway Pavilion is serving the Viking Cupcake, with vanilla cake, vanilla cream filling, blue and white butter cream icing, and red sprinkles, plus two cones representing Viking horns.

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing and continues through November 13th!
