Port Canaveral Completes a Record Year Welcoming 4.5 Million Passengers


port-canaveral-largePort Canaveral in Central Florida has just completed its 2017 fiscal year and saw a record 4.5 million passengers come through the terminal.

Between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017, the port welcomed 4,520,229 cruise passengers, which was an increase of 6.4 percent over fiscal year 2016. Of those, 4,234,545 were multi-day passengers, up 7.1 percent over 2016.

Port Canaveral is the second busiest cruise port in the world, just behind PortMiami, and hosts Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, Carnival Cruise Line, and Norwegian Cruise Line.
