Although Halloween Time has already begun to take over the Disneyland Resort, we still have a few more days before we can experience the spooky fun of Mickey’s Halloween Party. Since we have a short stretch left to wait (the party takes place September 20th to October 31st this year), why don’t we get in the spirit of the event by taking a look at some of the event merchandise created for the Disneyland Park celebration?
The Disney Parks Blog recently gave us a first look at some of the merchandise and spoke with Cathy Dawson, merchandise product developer with Disney Parks Merchandise, about what we can expect from Mickey’s Halloween Party products this year. She explained,
“Mickey’s Halloween Party is such a fun and colorful event. We captured some of those vibrant colors in the specially designed event logo with Disney characters enjoying Halloween. Guests will find elements of that logo on apparel for adults and kids along with several collectible pins. These products are a great way to remember a frightfully fun visit to the Disneyland Resort.”
You can see the logo and other memorable designs on this selection of shirts and hoodies. Of course you have the option of the festive shirts above, but annual passholders will also have their own exclusive shirt available and a limited edition pin. The pin is limited to a run of 5,000 pieces.
Speaking of pins, Disney has also released a limited edition set featuring Disney’s villains. These will come in a box set and have a run of only 1,000.
Finally, with limited edition sizes of 4,000 each are the party logo pin, a spinning “Halloween Screams” pin, and a “Frightfully Fun Parade” inspired pin featuring Zero and Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
There is also a pumpkin ornament that features the logo and lights up.
If you’re worried you may miss valuable party time tracking down this great merchandise, don’t worry, here is where you can find it:
Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., Pioneer Mercantile in Frontierland, and Pieces of Eight in New Orleans Square will all be hosting the party merch. For select Pin collecting hit up trading locations like 20th Century Music on Main Street, U.S.A., Westward Ho Trading Company in Frontierland, or Little Green Men Store Command in Tomorrowland.
Annual passholders can look for their exclusive shirt and pin at Disneyana on Main Street, U.S.A., or Tomorrowland Starcade.
