Another Disney executive retires
Nov 26, 2013
Disney is losing another top executive. Ed Fouche, a senior vice president of travel industry sales for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, will retire in January. Fouche's role includes "travel-industry sales for Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, as well as global sales for Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and Aulani." Fouche is very active in the Central Florida area, having worked for Disney for 25 years and being a member of the board of several organizations. He is currently on the board for Visit Florida, the state's tourism marketing campaign, and was the chairman twice. He also sits on the board of advisors at University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality management.
There have been several executives leaving Disney in the last few months, but not all have been retiring. Several have left for other jobs and some have been let go.
