by Leah ZanollaNov 2, 2009
A golf cart accident at Walt Disney World's Fort Wilderness this weekend has left a 4-year-old girl in the hospital. She was riding with her father at 10:30 pm on Saturday when he swerved to avoid another cart driving toward them without lights. When the cart tipped, the girl was thrown from her seat and pinned under the cart.
She was flown to Arnold Palmer Hospital with injuries to her neck, head and face. She went to surgery and is now listed in stable condition.
The accident is being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
