A janitorial cast member at Walt Disney World was arrested under charges of kidnapping and sexually battering a coworker. Gideon Paul Hunte, 49, allegedly "cornered a young female coworker and sexually assaulted her, while the victim tried to get away and told him to stop." The incident happened in a custodial closet in an Epcot cast members-only area the evening of Thursday, August 7. The victim reported the attack to her supervisor, crying and shaking while speaking. She told deputies that it lasted "as long as five minutes."

Hunte did admit to police that he touched the woman inappropriately.

Walt Disney World spokeswoman Kathleen Prihoda released a statement, saying, "This is a law enforcement matter. He has been placed on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the charges. We have zero tolerance for this type of alleged behavior."

Hunte was booked into the Orange County Jail and is being held on no bond. He is to have no contact with the victim.
