Victoria & Albert's Restaurant at Walt Disney World has received the distinction of earning a AAA Five-Diamond restaurant for the 13th time. Located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, it is the only Five-Diamond restaurant in Central Florida; there are only three in Florida. Maitre d'Hotel Israel Perez, Chef Scott Hunnel and Master Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek lead the team at Victoria & Albert's, offering Modern American flavors created with international ingredients and paired with wines for each course. Only 53 of the 28,000 restaurants that were reviewed have earned Five-Diamond status; only 21 have received it for 13 or more years.

AAA has the highest standards for restaurants receiving this honor; the menus and food must be unique and the staff must "exceed guest expectations by attending to every detail in an effortless and unobtrusive manner." Victoria & Albert's rises to meet those standards and then some. The restaurant features "Italian Sambonet silver, fine Royal Doulton and Wedgwood china, and Italian Frette tablecloths" that are hung to avoid creases. Female guests are given a stool on which to rest their handbags and are sent home with a rose. If patrons are cool in the restaurant, servers will offer a cashmere wrap for their shoulders.

Congratulations to Victoria & Albert's on their newest honor!
