Disneyland plans for Halloween season
by Leah ZanollaJul 14, 2009
Disneyland's Space Mountain will get a facelift for the Halloween season. The updates, which were originated at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2007, are known as "Ghost Galaxy" Space Mountain. There will be a new soundtrack and projected images of ghosts and ghouls. A Halloween-themed fireworks show will feature popular Disney villians such as Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and the Queen of Hearts. Jack Skellington from the "Nightmare Before Christmas" will be the show's "Master of Scaremonies."
The Halloween event is from September 25th - November 1st and is included in park admission.
Disney's California Adventure will host "Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party" on selected dates in October. Children will be able to wear costumes and trick-or-treat in the park, as well as play games, listen to music and watch a character parade.
