A restaurant manager has been caught stealing money to pay for Disney vacations. Alexander Pera, 26, worked at an Eddie Merlot's restaurant in Lincolnshire, Illinois. He has been arrested after being suspected of stealing customer's credit card information and fellow employees' identities to help pay for fifteen trips to Walt Disney World in five months and two Disney Cruises this spring. His charges include identity theft and money laundering.

Authorities in Florida tipped off the Chicago police of the scams, after Pera paid for his trips using pre-paid cards that were paid for with stolen credit cards. At the time of his arrest, Pera was in possession of fake IDs, gift cards and a loaded hangun.

Bruce Kraus, director of operations for Eddie Merlot's, said, "We are very sad to learn of this isolated incident at this one location. Based on our preliminary investigation, we do not believe that any customer's purchase of food or beverage was involved in the incident. Rest assured we will be going above and beyond to rectify the issue with any affected patrons. We will continue to cooperate with authorities and remain vigilant." Kraus also said the restaurant doesn't believe that any customer data was compromised, though police do not agree.

Pera is being held on a $500,000 bond. Investigations are ongoing as police attempt to determine who may have been a victim in the incident.
