Walt Disney World employee injured by guest

An employee at Walt Disney World was injured by a guest this afternoon. The cast member was working at the Tomorrowland Speedway in the Magic Kingdom when they were struck by one of the cars driven by a guest this afternoon shortly after 1 p.m.
The cast member was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The cars can go up to 7 miles per hour and are gas-powered. The attraction was shut down for a few hours, but has since reopened.
