Even though some of them are still six months away, the Walt Disney World races are filling up. Running has been an increasingly popular sport and combining this passion with Disney has proven to draw high crowds. Walt Disney World offers several different races of all lengths throughout the year, but some are close to filling up and closing registration. According to the runDisney site, here is a list of races nearing their limits.

The Tower of Terror 10-Miler (Inaugural race) is sold out. This weekend in September also includes the Happy Haunted 5K Trail Run, which is at 60% capacity, and a Villains Hollywood Bash after party, which has reached 50% capacity.

The 3rd Annual Wine & Dine Half Marathon is already 97% full, so expect registration for this race to close soon. The Jingle Jungle 5K and Finish Line Party still have plenty of room, with over 50% capacity remaining. This event will be held November 9 and 10.

The largest event of the runDisney races is the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, held in January every year. The Donald Half Marathon has reached 65% capacity and the Mickey Full Marathon is 75% full. Other events that weekend include the Family Fun Run 5K, which is under 50% full, and the Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge, which is 87% full. This race allows guests to run both the Half and the Full Marathon, thus the name "Goofy."
