Adrian Bailey, an actor appearing in Broadway's "The Little Mermaid" has filed suit against the Walt Disney company for injuries he sustained following a fall.
On May 10, Bailey fell off a stage set and plunged 30 feet to the floor below. The suit alleges that the actor's injuries "were caused by the carelessness, negligence and recklessness of the defendants." Bailey is also claiming that the set lacked "warnings and safety devices".
Bailey remains hospitalized since the incident. In addition, the suit names George Tsypin Design and Show Fabricators and Niscon, the company that designed The Little Mermaid's motion control systems.
The suit was filed on Thursday. Disney has declined to comment.
