News outlets are reporting that Disney executive Mark Zoradi resigned his post as president of the company's motion picture group, effective immediately. His departure comes approximately two months after the sudden
resignation of Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook.
During his 29 years with the company, Zoradi was involved in many areas of the Disney company ranging from worldwide marketing to home entertainment. Just last weekend Zoradi was honored with the Louis B. Mayer Motion Picture Business Leader of the Year Award from his alama mater, UCLA.
