Disney plans live-action Cinderella movie

They have reportedly paid a seven-figure amount for the screenplay rights to a live-action version of the classic fairy tale. The screenplay was written by Aline Brosh McKenna, writer of The Devil Wear's Prada. Details haven't been announced yet on how closely the revised story will follow the original version.
