Pandas are subject of Disney China movie
by Leah ZanollaJun 16, 2008
Disney is preparing "Touch of the Panda" for release in 2009. This is the second Chinese made movie for Disney and was filmed in China's Sichuan Province. This earthquake ravaged zone is also home to China's Panda sanctuary which was heavily damaged by the recent disaster.
The "Touch of the Panda" follows the story of an orphaned boy who saves a panda. The movie is spearheaded by Yu Zhong and co-produce by Ying Dong Media and Castle Hero Pictures.
The previous China flick was Disney's 2007 "The Magic Gourd."
