SeaWorld Orlando plans holiday festivities
Oct 22, 2012
SeaWorld is planning for Christmas and has released details of their festivities.
"O Wondrous Night - The Greatest Story Never Told" will return for the second year. It is a 30-minute show that tells the traditional Christmas story from the Bible, but with a twist - it's told from the perspective of the animals in the nativity. The animals are portrayed by puppets at the beginning of the show to allow the audience to learn the personality of the animals, and then will be replaced with real animals at a "key magical moment." Animals involved include sheep, doves, an alpaca, a zebu(ox), and three camels. Photo ops with some of the stars will also be available.
The "Sea of Trees" is back for the third year. 74 decorated holiday trees will line the water, featuring lights that dance to your favorite holiday tunes.
Other old favorites will be returning as well. The Bayside Stadium stage will once again play host to the Winter Wonderland on Ice skating show. "Shamu Christmas - Miracles," "Clyde & Seamore's Countdown to Christmas" and "A Sesame Street Christmas" shows will round out the shows, followed by "Holiday Reflections," a nightly fireworks and fountains show.
Also available will be the Polar Express Experience, transformed from the Wild Arctic attraction. This simulator ride will take guests on a train ride from the movie and culminate with a visit with Santa.
You can enjoy SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration Fri-Sun November 17-25 and 30 and December 1-2, 7-9, and 14-31.
