SeaWorld plans annual Spooktacular event
Oct 2, 2013

SeaWorld Orlando is making plans for their Halloween event, Spooktacular. Spooktacular is a family-friendly Halloween event that is perfect for youngsters not old enough for spookier holiday events. Kids will enjoy games, music, dancing, and bubble machines. Treat stations are set up for trick or treating fun; over one million pieces of candy will be passed out. Included with park admission, the marine park's kid-friendly celebration has a sea theme and is a great way for kids to get to show off their Halloween costumes one more time.

Brand-new this year is the Spooktacular Dance Party, hosted by Princess Penelope and her friends. Kids will be able to dance with the characters while the night air is filled with bubbles. The party is held each night of the event, at the front of the park one hour before closing. Penelope's Party Zone is back, with a DJ, interactive games and meet and greets with SeaWorld characters, such as pumpkin fish, mermaids, spider-crabs, penguins, Dolly Dolphin, Shivers the Polar Bear and Shamu.

Kristen Cumings, Jelly Belly artist, will be creating Jelly Belly portraits of penguins on October 26 and 27. Guests will be able to watch Cumings create art, then help decorate a Jelly Belly mural of the event.

Spooktacular will be held every weekend in October from 12-8 pm.
