New hotels planned for Universal Orlando?

Universal Orlando and Loews Hotels have filed some building permits with Orange County that include plans for what appear to be three new hotel properties, some of which may be attached to or located near the Royal Pacific Resort.

According to the Orlando Business Journal, the hotels appear to be:

Hotel number 5: a 1,000-room hotel with 159,000 feet of meeting space
Hotel number 6: a 400-room property that would replace an additional 400 rooms Universal had planned for Cabana Bay Beach Resort
Hotel number 7: a maximum 800-room hotel

Documents show that the hotels are planned to be in AAA's three-star range, which categorizes them as "multifaceted accommodations with distinguished style, physical attributes, amenities and guest comfort."
