12 guests were stuck on Transformers: The Ride 3-D at Universal Orlando this morning, Tuesday, July 15. Theme park officials are calling the incident a "technical glitch." Casey Ruston, one of the guests on the attraction, was tweeting throughout the experience and said the ride was stopped for about an hour before firefighters came to help them get out. Ruston posted photos of her family on the ride vehicle, a firefighter being lowered down to get them and the ladder that they used to climb out.

Firefighters were called around 10:30am to assist; there were no injuries. The ride reopened at 1:00pm after a safety inspection.
