Surfing at Disney World
Craig
Carroll’s Cocoa Beach Surfing School
Surfing
lessons are offered at Typhoon
Lagoon every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:30am - 9:00am (
times may vary by season). Instruction is provided
by Craig Carroll's Cocoa Beach Surfing School. Two instructors are present and spectators are welcome. Class
sizes are limited to 12 guests and you must be age 8 or
older to participate.
The session consists of a half hour of land instruction followed by two hours in the water. Guests must use the soft sided surfboards which are provided.
The cost of the Surfing School is $150 per person (price includes
tax). Since the event takes place before Typhoon
Lagoon opens to the general public, you will need
to provide your own transportation to the park.
Buses will be available after the lessons to go anywhere
on Disney property.
The price for this event DOES NOT include general admission
to Typhoon Lagoon. You will need to purchase a separate
admission if you want to stay after the session is complete.
