in the fall of 2005, while staying at beach club, all 5 of us had meal plans. at the time i was at the desk checking out, another member of my party was in the gift shop buying snack food for our trip home. he was told that the meal plan was now cancelled because we were checking out. we ended up leaving disney with a lot of food still left on our meal plan. we still had several table, snack and counter service meals left for all 5 people, and were not allowed to use them.

I have two park peeves. People cutting in front of you at the last minute during or just before parades. And the second is those who run over the back of your heels with the scooters driven in the parks. I cannot tell you how sore my heels were by the time I got home! I must have been bumped into several times a day with not so much as a "sorry" from a single driver! OUCH! Some politeness is in order here I think. Ruth

After waiting an hour for an entree at the California Grill at the Contemporary at Disney and nothing showed up, not even an apology, the manager's response was to charge for the drinks but not for the food. Good call for not charging for something I didn't receive!

As a cast member, my peeves are as follows: 4. Guests who do not read signs. 3. Guests who do not listen to what cast members are saying when they gice directions (Ex: Move all the way down the row) 2. Guests who let their kids run crazy because it's Disney and the Cast Members will run after their children and clean up their messes. 1. My NUMBER ONE COMPLAINT is when Cast Members do NOT provide good service and give all other Cast Member's a bad name!!!!!

My only pet peeve is the increase in smoking throughout the Parks over the last few years. I'm not a smoker and I certainly understand that it's only fair for people to be allowed to smoke (we all have vices...mine is chocolate), however, Disney either needs to really enforce the smoking areas (as we noticed people are smoking everywhere) or eliminate it altogether.

Hello, This is my peeve. I am not trying to win a contest but just want to say that Disney has to be carefull with the movies and TV programing it creates. Movies outdo any special effects that any theme park including Disney can produce and I noticed on the Test Track ride (that I haven't been on for a year or so until last week) very bored faces when I got off the ride and went to see the photos. I was the only one smiling out of many many many photos. Even children passengers had bored expressions. I can remember the days when this ride was a tremendous thrill to all who rode it. As America loses it's middle class values to the intense gory music, TV programs and movies that are so in vogue, typical park visitors will be bored to death because their appetites now demand the same stimulation they have become lately accustomed to. Theme Parks will become a dorky thing of the past the same way Playboy clubs have become. A fleabitten joke that cannot be revived. Even if updated. Please be the leaders in changing the direction of movies TV and music. Pixar has the proper values this world needs. The writers of "Finding Nemo" especially have captured the flavor of good values. Not too goody goody yet not overly sickening and terrorizing. Just right to keep places like Disney World and Disneyland alive. Find more writers like Pixar's to do some of your other producing also. I never want to lose Disney !!! Thank you, Linda Archer

Please get the awesome cast members at Pop Century some new uniforms!!! Everything at the resort is colorful and fun. The cast members are wearing grey, oversized sheets. I know their smiles will shine with different outfits!

I just came back from a trip, and had an overall wonderful time, but here's my pet peeve of the week: Magic Kingdom: My family left right before the end of the parade, so that we could beat the crowd to the Disney resort buses. When we arrived at the bus queue, there were only 2 other people ahead of us, and about 20 folks came up behind us as we were waiting. Right after the bus pulled up, someone on a scooter came up, along with a large 'magical gathering' of more than 25 family members. The bus driver proceeded to put them on the bus first - much to everyones amazement! There we stood (on very sore feet, having just ditched the parade so we could catch the first bus)as that 'Magical Gathering' basically stole our seats. Once that family was on the bus, not many other people were able to get on. Now, I understand the reasons for putting a scooter/wheelchair on the bus first, and letting the other people on once that is secured. HOWEVER, it was pretty unfair and rude of that family to go to the front of the line, and take up most of the seats on the bus, basically taking them from people who were ahead of them in line! I would ask people who are handicapped to be respectful of others who have arrived ahead of them in line. Unless your medical condition requires that you get back to the resort quickly, please wait your turn like everyone else. Also, if you are travelling with a handicapped person, please remember that it doesn't give all of you special treatment.

The last time we were at Epcot we watched the fireworks from that little restaurant across from the Mexican Pavillian like ten minutes before it started these little brats started standing on the railing and stepping on our feet. Luckly their parents finally made them move right before it started.

Oooh. I just hate those people who stop walking RIGHT in the middle of the sidewalk. There is a nice flow going, but they need to hold everyone up by stopping the flow of everything, but cannot step to the side and figure out what they need to do. It's just like at my high school...it drives me CRAZY!!

I think our single most relevant pet peeve is going through "security." I spend alot of time packing a bag carefully for a day at the park(s)and it hooks on the back of my wheelchair. When you go through security, do they really think that they are going to stop anything from coming in? Please get real. Looking into a bag is not going to keep anything out of the park.

I have two peeves, first backpacks. If your going to carry it all day in the parks, PLEASE be aware of the people around you, especially when standing in line. We just got back from a wonderful trip, but can't tell you how many times we got whacked by backpacks. People forget when they turn around theres an extra foot sticking out on their backs. Also what the heck do you need to carry in those things. Some families, the entire family are carrying stuffed backpacks??? Try a locker. Also we noticed considerably more line jumping than ever before. One or two people will save spots in line, then all the sudden 5,6, or 8 more people join them after you've been in line 15 or 20 minutes. I thought you couldn't do this but saw it quite often.

My Biggest peeve are those people that break in line. I think that is so rude. it has happened to me there.

It really annoys me when people noy staying on WDW property drive to one of the monorail hotels to use the monorail. Why should they be able to do that when not paying resort prices? UGH!

The people that pay their $35 for their electric wheelchair just so they and their family(all 15 of them) go to the front of the line while we wait sometimes 60 minutes. Then these people get off the ride and run to the next snack shop or let there family take turns riding on the chair. There should be some type of doctor note to be allowed to rent the chairs or let them rent but they need a note to get a handicap pass for front of the line access. I know some people need this service, but many take advantage of it.

The only "peeves" I have about any of the Disney Parks, is the signage directing drivers to hotels, parks, etc. When my husband and I recently visited Disney World, we arrived at night. The road signs are smaller than I think they should be, and our car lights only caused the text to glare which made signs difficult to read until we were right on top of them. Perhaps, this could be rectified with florescent lighting around signage. It would especially help if they were larger, with bigger text.

the only rhing that i find "unmagical" about disney world is when we are waiting a solid hour to get a good spot for the parade, and then little kids start bangging their way through to see, and i just wanted to say look kids- we were here first. and this could only happen to me- but a little girl (probably 10-ish years old) had a MELTING ICE CREAM CONE that was dripping ALL OVER the back of my shirt during the parade! it is really annoying.

MY PET PEEVE IS WHEN A PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU SAYS THEY'RE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO COME BACK FROM THE BATHROOM, YOU STAND ON LINE FOR OVER AN HOUR. THEN THE "SOMEONE" becomes an entourage of 14 people all talking about how many things that got to see while that "1" person was on line and then your family is squeezed into your spot. where is the fairness?

we have been to both the magic kingdom and the motion picture disney parks in the last few months. we are senior citizens now and handicapped. we require electric carts to get around. last time we were there we had access to every ride. now we find alot of ones we want to go on that are more on the milder side for us, we are excluded because there is no one with us thar can push a manual wheel chair for both of us. before they used to have handicapped entrances, now you are forced to go through all the turns and twist in the lines while trying to manuver a big cart and basket. you have to stop the line while you have to keep backing up and getting stuck. its frustrating and embarrassing. by the time you get on the ride you are all worn out and cant enjoy the ride. your whole day is ruined. a second pet peeve is having people walk in front of you and you have to slam on the brakes to prevent smashing them. also trying to get food at a restraunt in there is almost imposible if you dont have a walking helper. the lines are too small for an electric cart to go through and the special handicapped lanes on the side are either full of non handicapped people or they are closed. they are clearly marked for the handicapped but employees arent allowed to stop them. i have alot more but this is long enough. thankyou.
