Best Friends Pet Care at Walt Disney World offers a luxury, full-service pet resort with a wide range of activities, amenities and extras. Located across from Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort, this 50,000-square foot complex includes accommodations for up to 300 dogs, cats and pocket pets. It also includes a full-service grooming salon and two 1,100-square foot doggy day camp rooms.

Open one hour before parks open and close one hour after parks close.

Check out time is 12:00 noon. A daycare charge will apply to boarding pets who leave after check out time.

Rates for "pocket pets":

This includes animals such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and ferrets. Fees range from $12 to $23 per day ($10 to $21 for resort guests) depending on the size and type of pet. You have to provide your own enclosure. Exotics, venomous pets, and primates are not accepted for boarding.

Dogs must be up to date on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella.

Cats must be up to date on Rabies and FVRCP.

Written proof of vaccines from vet must be provided.

A complimentary “interview” is required, to determine a dog’s suitability for group play.  Vaccinations and regular fecal checks are required for the health and safety of all the dogs.

Grooming:

This state-of the art salon provides treatments by experienced stylists.  Your pets can enjoy shampoos, hair cuts and flea treatments while boarding or just by appointment.  Want your pet to experience something a little extra?  Exotic styling, pedicures, skin care and moisturizing treatments are also available!
