Along Hotel Plaza Boulevard, you will find the Downtown Disney hotels and among them, Holiday Inn in the Walt Disney World Resort. Although these seven hotels are not Disney-owned, they are nonetheless official Walt Disney World hotels and can therefore offer some of the amenities that guests of the Walt Disney World Resorts enjoy.

Holiday Inn in the Walt Disney World Resort is a 14-story high tower flanked by a 6-story garden wing. Inside of the beige stucco exterior, a magnificent view of the atrium can be seen from one of the two glass elevators in the center of the hotel. Also visible from the elevators, a garden paradise, tranquil fountain, bright cabana-covered lounge and outdoors seating area topped with gaily, colored umbrellas, provides an invitation to kick back and relax.

Guests of the Holiday Inn in the Walt Disney World Resort will receive a Downtown Disney Value Discount Passport. This passport will allow them to use the Disney transportation system and gives discounts to some restaurants and attractions in the area.

Guests of the Holiday Inn in the Walt Disney World Resort will enjoy complimentary transportation to all 4 Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, 2 water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach) and Pleasure Island. Pick-ups for the Theme Parks are scheduled every 30 minutes from 1 hour prior to park opening until 2 hours after the parks close. Buses to the Magic Kingdom will drop guests off at the Ticket & Transportation Center and you can ride Disney's fun monorail system in the rest of the way to the Magic Kingdom. For transportation to the water parks, check with the Guest Services desk for the scheduled morning and afternoon pick-ups. Pleasure Island bus transportation is offered every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. until 3 a.m. Downtown Disney Marketplace and Downtown Disney West Side are only a 5-10 minute walk.

A credit card is required at the time of making the reservation. Cancelled reservations must usually be done at least 48 hours prior to arrival for a full refund, but check on this at the time you book as the policy is subject to change dependent upon the time of year.

Interior corridors lead to the 323 rooms (including 2 suites) at the
Holiday Inn in the Walt Disney World Resort. Guestrooms hold a maximum of 5 guests and have two double beds (or one king-sized bed with a pull out sofa), a nightstand with clock radio, telephone, dresser, small bench, table and chairs. The satellite TV has the Disney channel, and pay-per-view movies and Nintendo games are available for an extra charge. Other amenities include a coffee maker (coffee and tea is complimentary), iron and ironing board, hair dryer and a decent sized code-operated safe.

Guests who need to connect to home or work via the Internet while vacationing, will find a computer data port on the phone in each room. Breath-taking views are available from many of the rooms and those that face Downtown Disney will be delighted to see the nightly fireworks display from Pleasure Island (view charges apply). Cribs may be requested at no charge. Rooms that are handicapped accessible and non-smoking rooms are also available. Check-in time is 4 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m..

Pools & Recreation

The Holiday Inn Café & Grille serves breakfast, and dinner. The
all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet features fresh fruits, cold cereals,
eggs, bacon, sausage, baked goods, breakfast potatoes and coffee. Prefer lighter fare? For lunch, dinner or snacks, the 2GO Bar has just the thing, featuring continental breakfast, New York style deli sandwiches, Pizza Hut pizza and more. Guests who just want to sit, relax and sip their beverage of choice will enjoy the Tipsy Parrot. Snacks are also offered. For guests who prefer dining in the privacy of their room, room service is offered.
