Schedule:
Two shows daily
Tuesday through Saturday -- 6 & 9 p.m.
Each show lasts 90 minutes.
La Nouba will not perform on the following dates
in 2003: September
7 to 9
October 26 to 29
December 7 to 15
**Beginning with the Jan. 5, 2003, show, Cirque
du Soleil dark days (no performances) at Downtown
Disney will be Sunday and Monday.
Phone
orders can be placed up to 6 months in advance by
calling (407) 939-7600
You
must enter the theatre at least 10 minutes prior
to show time, or risk having your seats resold to
someone else. The theatre has stopped its
"no refund policy" as of May, 1999.
You can not get your money back, but you can exchange
your tickets for another date. I recommend
arriving 30 minutes early as the Cirque du Soleil
experience begins before the "official"
show time. This will also allow time for the
bathroom and picking up refreshments.
If you order tickets 9 days or more in advance,
they will be mailed to you and a $3.00 shipping
charge for registered mail will apply. If
tickets are ordered 8 days or less in advance, they
can be picked up at the Will Call Window at the
theatre box office.
Additional Information about Cirque du Soleil:
La Nouba is a popular show and it is not unusual
for shows to completely sell-out. I would
suggest purchasing your tickets ASAP. If you
decide to watch the show on the "spur of the
moment", check the box office at the theatre
as they may have a few seats left over (or maybe
some "no show" seats).
The Cirque du Soleil theatre is located at Downtown
Disney West Side. Disney Bus Transportation
is provided for Disney resort guests to the West
Side. Valet and regular car parking closest
to the theatre is the West Side lot. Taxi
service is also available to the theatre.
The theatre has seating for 1 671 guests and not
one of those seats is a bad one. Really.
The staging of La Nouba permits a great
view from any vantage point in the theatre.
For reference, I have sat in sec. 203, row bb seat
19 and I was just about dead center, half way up
the theatre (second row from the front of tier 200
seating) Section 100 and 200 are the leftmost
sections from the stage. There is no balcony
seating, just two different tiers of seats.

Most guests dress up a little bit for the show,
and I would recommend doing so. The dress
is by no means formal, but do dress up like you
would going to the theatre in your home town.
Those families in the shorts and t-shirts they wore
to the parks tend to stick out in the crowd entering
the theatre. Besides, dressing up a little
and going out for dinner adds to the experience,
right? ;o) (convince Dad to at least
put on some khakis and a nice golf shirt!)
There is a snack bar inside the theatre as well
as a gift shop. Another merchandise shop selling
items from all Cirque du Soleil productions is open
to the general public on the main floor of the theatre,
adjacent to the box office.
