Interviews
"Insight": the Magic
As part of Dreams Unlimited "Around the World Tour" in September they had the opportunity to interview DCL's former President, Matt Ouimet. He was insightful and receptive, even witty and humorous.  Dreams CEO and DIS Webmaster, Pete Werner was even heard to say "I want to work for him" after conducting the interview :)

Dreams conducted several other interviews on board the Disney Magic as part of it's tour.  The text of those interviews is available here.

Pools and Recreation

It might be a good idea to have a separate bag filled with bathing suits and pool gear because your luggage may not be in your state room when you initially check in. This will give you something to do while waiting for your bags to arrive. Gather the family up and take your pick of 3 different pools: The Goofy Pool, Mickey Pool, and the adults only quiet pool. Each of the pools has at least one hot tub and the Mickey Pool has a slide for the kids (there is a height restriction for the slide, just ask a cast member if you're not sure). The Goofy Pool has a stage cover where a dance floor is erected on certain evenings and they even turn it into a stage for an unparalleled viewing experience under the stars! There are plenty of deck chairs to choose from so parents can sit and take in some sun while the kids are playing in the pool. Snack bars abound on the pool decks and all the snacks are free!! You can also order just about any drink from the bars located by the pool areas. Let's take a quick tour of the pools......28k-56k | ISDN-Cable

Recreation is never something Disney has taken lightly. Everything is dressed to the nines, even if it's casual. The abundance of unique and entertaining things to do while on board will keep you busy for the whole trip. And while you can do many of the activities as a family, others are specific to family member(s). You'll find that breaking up is easy, and fun to do!
Choose from Vista Spa and Beat Street (adults only entertainment area) for mom and dad. Here's a look at the spa.....  28k-56k | Cable-ISDN

Dining on Board

Cuisine is always served up in celebrated form no matter where you dine on the ship. There are tastes to satisfy every palette and ambiance to satisfy any mood. During your cruise you will get to experience elegance and amazement a la Disney, a la mode, a la anyway you could possibly imagine. All stops are pulled, no bottles left un-corked, and all glasses raised to a dining experience unsurpassed on land or sea.
Dine in hushed wonder at the food, service and atmosphere in Lumiere's (Disney Magic) or Triton's (Disney Wonder). Spark creativity and amazement as your black and white world blooms into living color at Animator's Palate (both ships), or immerse yourself in Caribbean decor at Parrot Cay (both ships). Palo's (both ships) is the restaurant just for adults where the only thing more enticing than the 270 degree ocean view is the fabulous Northern Italian cuisine.

All of the above noted is just the tip of the iceberg. There is more to do than could possibly be done on one cruise. But where one adventure ends the next will pick up as you embark on the voyage of your dreams!
