Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 10508 Report

Notes: This room was wonderful! DH and I got it using the VGT guarantee, so we didn't get to choose our stateroom, but we were very happy with the selection. Being on deck 10 was great bc it was close to cabanas, the beverage station, and the pool. I was a bit worried about the overhang obstructing our view or making me feel claustrophobic, but honestly the overhang didn't bother me at all. I actually think I liked it better because the sides of the verandah go all the way to the floor so you don't feel like you can see your neighbors on the verandah (very private). My only complaint about the room was the noise. You could definitely hear noise above you in the morning (not so much at night). I think that this room is right under the fitness area, so a few mornings DH and I were woken up to loud bangs and what not. The other noise complaint was the connecting room. The people next door to us were so LOUD! You could hear their entire conversation a lot of the time. So, not only were we woken up early from the noise above, we were woken up from the people next door. Overall, the room was really wonderful. I would definitely stay here again. But be cautious if you want to sleep in and are a light sleeper!

Notes: Incredibly quite part of the ship. Only a few cabins away from Captain's quarters. It was fun to watch crew at the starboard helm extension. Nice view of CC on port day. Steward was excellent at the time.

Notes: Excellent room! Close enough to elevators, yet far enough away from foot traffic. Yes there is an overhang, however, it never once interfered with our viewing pleasure. It was up out of our range of view. We had absolutely no issues with noise at all, and i'm a light sleeper. I would definitely stay in this room again!

Notes: Hard to say it was a 3, but maybe a 3.75. Rooms are beautiful on the ship. We were disappointed because when you walk outside, the deck above jets out over, so it kind of blocks the sun. Great view of the Captain's bridge. We saw him many times. Also, had lots of noise early in the morning as it is below the spa. Not sure what it was (chairs? Gym?) Room was comfy, but next time we'll move down a deck or 2. Room attendant was great! Made up for the other things.
