Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 2056 Report

Notes: I was concerned we wouldn�t like this room location but it was great - husband liked it very very well, just a flight or two of stairs from all our evenings entertainment and other than maybe a kid running up the hallway occasionally, we had zero issues with any noise - and we feared the worst after reading some reviews and seeing our location. The room itself was fine, we found that generally the bedding, mattress and couch seemed a bit dated and perhaps worn (couch was lumpy but no one slept there) but everything was quite comfortable and clean. I think our only issues were more style points, especially when the bedding and decor of the newer ships are compared to the bed cover, linens and mattress etc.. on this one. Overall, we would stay in this room again (we booked GTY - not exactly sure what category they are calling this room now)

Notes: The condition of the room was good. This room has no pull down bed, only has the roll over couch bed. Room is located right by mid ship elevators which is a plus, however it is located SUPER close to the teen club Edge....this is horrible. Loud noise coming in from the halls ALWAYS, kids running up and down halls, up and down stairs and had a large number of door knocks and runs all hours of the night. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER stay in this roon again not even if it was free!!!!

Notes: 2 adults shared room. Queen sized bed. Great location for main lobby, Enchanted Garden and Royal Palace. Window overlooked docks at Nassau and Castaway Cay. Room was near end of hallway so no noise from passerbys. Sometimes would hear a vibration which wasn't loud, just noticable. Also I believe some noise was coming from Enchanted Garden but it was only during dining times. I gave it a four because of this noise and the fact that the disign of room left very little space for moving around. The entrance hallway was small and there was about 20 inches of space between the foot of the queen bed and the wall, therefore only one person could move around these areas. The couch and desk area were large enough to move around in. Otherwise my wife and I both loved this room. The view from our porthole, the closeness to many of the dining rooms, the closeness to the midship elevators, and the sound levels were low were the things we enjoyed the most. I would recomend this room to folks without hesitation.

Notes: Only heard people in corridors around dinner time. Cabin convenient for all areas, as its low midship. Have booked this cabin again.

Notes: The room is in a convenient location, but due to being right near Ocean Quest it was noisy. There were a couple nights with kids running through the hallway after midnight. The room itself was nice and even with the bed separated, there was plenty of room for my teen daughter and myself.

Notes: Cabin itself was excellent. Location was great. Noise level was fine during the day, however, at bedtime, there was a lot of tween chatter due to the close proximity to Ocean Quest. Supposedly the kids were talked to, but chatter was still there. Never heard noise after midnight though.

Notes: Excellent stateroom! Very quiet and convenient to mid-ship elevators / stairs. Just down the hall from the laundry room. Would reserve again! Has steamer trunk for additional storage.
