Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 2629 Report

Notes: Very, Very, Very noisy room. If you are a light sleeper this is not the room for you. Other than that the room is in great shape. It has a very large steamer trunk across from the bed for storage and a nice bench with storage underneath (we used it for shoes). It is also close to aft elevators, MDRs (AP and PC), and gangway.

Notes: Room was very convenient based on location. Noise was a huge issue though. Was bearable until rough sees were hit. Noticed that shims were already placed around the ceiling. Carpenters came and attempted to fix the ceiling. Next morning we received a call asking us to changes rooms as they were unable to fix the issue.

Notes: Not a bad room. Has a large steamer trunk to store clothing. Right around the corner from the stairs and elevator and just below Parrot Cay and Animators. Only drawback was the noise level. It is under Parrot Cay and you can hear things dropping and rolling around above you at night. It is also next to where they put all the luggage for disembarking and that was noisy on our last morning. I think the noise level was worse on our last morning back at Canaveral.

Notes: Room was in a relatively good location (for the elevator and stairs and under PC and AP) Only problem was the noise level. Because it is under the restaurants, you can hear things dropping and rolling around above you at night. The only time we had alot of noise was when we were docking back at Port Canaveral on the last day. Also the room is right next to where they put all your luggage on the last day and that can also be noisy. Overall condition of the room was good. It also has a steamer trunk to help with storage.

Notes: Room was lovely. Split bath was an upgrade from our last cruise. Very useful for a family of 3 or 4. Cabin creakiness and bathroom tile leak was immediately fixed by fabulous room steward, Sudhir. Tons of storage-13 drawers!!)-some extra deep and has a double storage trunk as well as large closet. Bathroom had a tall shelf for toiletries as well. Didn't even need the over the door holder. :) Didn't find it noisy at night, but we didn't go to bed until after 11. Very conveniant to the restaurants and the drink station on Deck 9. Loved this room and being aft rather than forward.

Notes: The room itself was fine. The location was great for Parrot Cay. Plenty of room for 2 people. However, on the last night of the cruise, there was a great deal of noise due to the fact the stateroom was right next to the place they take all the luggage into. I didn't get a lot of sleep that last night onboard.

Notes: It was a bit noisy at night...not sure what we were underneith, but once in awhile (not often) it sounded as if someone was dropping a bowling ball in a bathtub. Other than that (lol) it was extremely pleasant.

Notes: Room was prone to plumbing problems, as it was next to a major plumbing closet. It seemed that any plumbing issue on deck 2 lead to a team of crewmembers hammering & muttering in the closet next to our room. Room seems very small for a family of 4. With careful packing and use of nesting luggage sets that can fit under the bed, minimal space will be lost to empty baggage.

Notes: It was pretty quiet and I personally found it to be a convenient location. Being aft we could go straight to the drink station on 9, walk up to Parrot Cay. I have not ever had a room where I didn't find something convenient :) There really was not enough room for 4 people and luggage for 4.
