Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 5013 Report
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 5013 | Condition: 3 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 11 | Location: Mid |
| Sail Date: 09/01/11 |
Notes: We did a b2b,the cabin was samller than the cabins in the Wonder and Magic. It only had 3 drawers. Had plenty of hangers in the closet. It was convinient to be able to place the suitcases under our bed.
We loved the virtual porthole it was great for our daughter.
The shower took a little time to figured out. Hair dryer is upon request.
The room had like a water leaking sound sometimes, have no idea where it came from. Late at night was very noisy teens running and screaming....Did see a lot of the crew around more than usual. The Vibe club is too close.... It depends on how much you are planning to stay in your stateroom how this location will afect you. |
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 5013 | Condition: 4 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 11B | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 08/16/11 |
Notes: Yes... the room was small for a family of 4. But honestly we don't stay in the room very often so it is a great value! Drawer space is minimal... only 3 drawers. We used the trunk to unpack my dd5's clothes and stored our shoes under the foot of the bed. The room was very convenient to the Atrium, the Buena Vista Theater and the balcony of the Walt Disney Theater. My kids, 5 and 2, loved the sofa and pull down bed. The virtual pothole was fantastic! We loved watching for the Pixie Dust and the characters! We even left the porthole on at night and I really felt like we had a room with a view! The only downfall to the location was that there were a lot of footsteps and much shouting by teens going to Vibe late at night. I would book the category again... but a room away from the Vibe stairs would be more ideal. |
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 5013 | Condition: 4 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 11B | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 07/01/11 |
Notes: Room is convienent to the Promenade and the Atrium. It contains queen bed, sofa bed, and ceiling (drop down)bed. Lots of hangers in the closet! Enough storage for 2 people for 4 days - maybe even 7 days - depending on how much luggage. Not sure if enough storage for 4 people unless super-organized. Heard a muted clunking sound at nights. Noise pattern resembled sound of feet on steps and was confirmed by the sound of voices and laughter - this cabin must be against the wall of the Vibe stairwell. Sound not bad though - more like white noise. Also heard some mild banging noise during port arrival around 5:30AM on last morning. Not loud either though. Could only find four outlets for chargers - and two were used by Wave phones and the (useless) clock - bring a power strip. Absolutely loved the porthole and the random character appearances! Would stay here again. |
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 5013 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 11 | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 03/27/11 |
Notes: Having sailed twice on the Wonder, room did seem smaller (if someone was walking in, had to take turns to pass the small hallway by the bath). Did seem noisy, a lot of loud banging during sleeping hours, never figured out why. Forward location bothered my sensitive DD and even myself on the last rocky night. Seemed a trek from mid in comparison to Wonder, probably wouldn't book again. |
| Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 5013 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 11 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 11/21/10 |
Notes: Very short, quiet hallway. It did seem bigger than a standard inside room. |
| Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 5013 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 11 | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 09/06/09 |
Notes: This was our first cat 11. It was a sideways cabin on deck 5. The location was great, first room on the right as you entered the short coorridor. I preferred a split bath, but this was an excellant choice for 2 adults for a 4 night cruise. The only noise was families standing in the hallway chatting and yelling. When they cleared the hallway the noise stopped. We had a steamer trunk and there was plenty of storage. We were right near the forward elevators. We didn't hear any noise from the kids club, nor did we ever see any kids clubs in transition. |
| Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 5013 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 11 | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 10/21/07 |
Notes: Loved the "extra room" or it appeared to be bigger as this is a sideways room. Very quiet. |
| Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 5013 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 11 | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 08/12/06 |
Notes: We had a great stay in this stateroom. I was worried that the theater below would be noisy but it wasn't a problem. Great sideways room seemed bigger than our Cat 10 on our cruise last year. |
