Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 5192 Report
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 5192 | Condition: 4 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 6B | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 01/06/13 |
Notes: Great room, great size - right across from the laundry area, last room so you didn't have any foot traffic noise, felt very secluded, huge balcony directly off the back of the ship above Sorcerer Mickey and the magic brooms, super easy access to the kid's clubs.Only minus was the dance music from the floor above that would thump pretty loudly between midnight and 2am. |
| Ship: Disney Fantasy | Stateroom: 5192 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 6B | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 10/20/12 |
Notes: This was an excellent room, we loved it. It is directly across from the laundry area on deck five, which was not very busy during our cruise, so we had easy access to laundry, and there was not noticeable noise from the laundry room.
We did not hear any noise from the nightclub above us. The ships vibrations were not noticeable to us either, even when docking.
It has a great extended verandah. There was one lounger, two chairs, and a side table. There is a roof on the verandah, so sunning was not an option for us. There is an employee/utility area on one side, (it is where they raise the flag)and another stateroom on the other side, so it is really very private. It is located directly above Dumbo, so that is what you see when you look down.

| Ship: Disney Fantasy | Stateroom: 5192 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 6A | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 06/16/12 |
Notes: The verandah was located near Dumbo and near the ship's flag. Some excellent views, but not much sun because the verandah is covered by the deck above it. We heard music from the nightclubs below, but not enough to keep us awake. Hardly any traffic in the hallway because it's located at a dead end. Laundry was just across the hall. |
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 5192 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 09/25/11 |
Notes: I was concerned based on previous reports of excessive noise in this location, but I am pleased to report that this was an ideal location in my opinion. Large, covered balcony, very little motion or noise to speak of. Brought earplugs, didn't need them a bit. Very easy access to kids clubs, all restaurants are easily reached via aft elevators. Definitely go for this cabin! |
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 5192 | Condition: 1 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 09/08/11 |
Notes: Room was a good size for the two of us, and the verandah was awesome. The problem is the noise from the Evolutions nightclub, which is on Deck 4, Aft. The bass from the club was unbearable, and even my wife, who is an incredibly heavy sleeper, could not sleep. Disney rectified the situation for us, but I would tell anyone thinking of booking any of the deck 5 aft rooms during a busy period of time to think twice before doing so. |
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 5192 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 5 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 06/21/11 |
Notes: This room is only accessible from the port-side hallway. It is the last room accessible aft on the Dream, so there is very little foot traffic by the room. A laundry is across the way, but that did not disturb us. What did cause some long nights was the bass thumping from Evolution nightclub on deck 4. Music plays until 2 am, so unless you are a heavy sleeper or a night owl, you may want to reconsider this room. DCL senior staff are aware of the problem and are looking for a resolution but there's no quick fix. The balcony is huge - almost 8 ft deep at it's deepest point - and very private. The only other balconies that can be seen are from room 5190 and a crew area (only used for raising/lowering the flag on port days.) Loved the location overall, but would opt for deck 6 or 7 if the room was available so as to cut down on the noise from the night club. |
