Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 5650 Report

Notes: Perfect stateroom. Close to the kid's club, elevator ride away from Cabanas. AMAZING balcony - absolutely HUGE. Much wider than the other extended balconies on deck 5. Beautiful view of Castaway Cay beach when docked. Stateroom is at the end of a hall that deadends, so very little foot traffic.

Notes: This room is at the end of a hallway beside the kids club. It was noisy in the hall outside of the room, but once in the room it was quiet. It is close to the kids clubs, adult area and restaurants, and a quick ride up to Cabana's. The extended verandah is huge. The room has a queen, sofa bed and a pull down bunk. I liked the room and think it is a great choice if you want a large balcony. It didn't bother me with the other verandah's looking down there is plenty of privacy still. One thing to consider about all the extended verandah's is in windy conditions, (we sailed at the end of hurricane Sandy), they open the privacy panels for safety reasons, so your balcony isn't private and anyone in those rooms could walk between verandah's. I think we prefer the larger room to the larger balcony and will go with one of those next time. We don't spend that much time on the balcony. If only we could get one in this location because it was perfect!

Notes: We LOVED this room! The location was quiet and convenient...just a quick walk to take the kids to the club/lab. The big bonus was the HUGE verandah. Double wide & double deep. We could have had a party out there! We did not hear any noise from the nightclubs (I think we were too far forward for that to be an issue) and no noise from the kids Clubs next door either. I would definitely choose this room again!

Notes: Great cabin!!! Verandah is HUGE! No noise issues at all. Very nice cabin.

Notes: Excellent stateroom! We have sailed in it over 20 times and love it. It is as far aft as you can get, meaning that there is virtually no hallway traffic. The verandah rail is solid metal, but the verandah itself is larger than standard due to the curve of the ship. Also, because you only have one neighbor, you have a 50 percent lower chance of having a verandah smoker next door if you are a non-smoker. You will definitely get noise/vibration from the thrusters when docking, but we never find that to be a problem because that's typically when we are waking up anyway.

Notes: We booked a category 8 and were surprised with a free upgrade. Furthest aft starboard stateroom except for a suite. Curvature of ship makes for extra-large verandah, and you can see straight behind the ship. Quiet most of the time but very noisy early mornings of port calls because of the thrusters. A little bumpy with heavy weather, and being so far aft made this less than the best place to be; would rather be midships. Otherwise, would love this stateroom again!

Notes: This stateroom is the farthest aft you can get on the starboard side of the ship. There is never any noise and the verandah has more space than others because of the curvature of the ship. We would definitely stay here again!
