Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 6038 Report

Notes: Room was great. Little noise, little traffic by our room. Only noise was from first night following Hurricane Sandy and a little one in next room had a rough hour with the seas. Had great view from verandah. Room was in great shape, loved the wave phones for letting our ten year old wander around and still keep and eye on him. Location was good going up or down, easy access to 3 and 4 and 11 and 12.

Notes: Maiden Voyage was great. We picked this room as it was near one we've had on The Dream. It's a nice 3 person room, near the forward stairs/elevators. It does connect to 6036, but we heard minimal noise during the trip. You can hear the noise from the crew elevators, but after we figured out what the noise was, it wasn't bothersome. We liked the fact you can walk down to decks 5, 4, & 3 easily. It's a bit harder to walk up to Deck 11, so elevator is useful and usually not much of a wait, unless right after a show or lifeboat drill. Love the underbed storage. Still miss the trunk that is found in the Magic & Wonder. There isn't anyplace for room service to put your morning coffee tray, when others are still sleeping, except for the bed. Fridge works well, except the upper tray won't move, so tall items (like a bottle of champagne) will need to be tilted, but held a few bottles of water and everything chilled nicely. Ipod dock/clock is very bright. Had to cover it as we couldn't figure out if there was a dimmer. Beds very comfortable. Did have issues with the air conditioning. Sometimes room very warm, other times very cool. Couldn't figure out if it was because of being out for long periods of time and the power goes off when your not there, or just one of those things. You have to push the button to start the "quick cool". Over all, was a great room & location.

Notes: Great views, Ajoins with 6036. Convenient to forward elevators. Plenty of room for family of 3 or 4.

Notes: Good location. Easy to get anywhere. Very quiet. Lots of storage. Your view depends on which way the ship pulls into port (at CC we pulled in aft first which is not how it looks in postcards).

Notes: This was a great room. The only problem was the carpet had a big old stain on it. No noise, very close to the forward elevator and the mid ship elevator. One flight up from the Kids Club (loved that!) Ample space to unpack. Highly recommend!

Notes: Great room!! It was quite and clean and close to two elevators. The balcony was great. The furnishings were showing wear, but still clean and nice. Sleeps four, has the sofa bed and the pulldown bed. This room connects with 6036.
