Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 6628 Report
| Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 6628 | Condition: 4 |
| Deck: 6 | Category: 5C | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 05/05/13 |
Notes: Our first verandah room and we were very pleased overall - some minor wear & tear, but everything was functional and clean.
Plenty of room for two adults - even with 14 days' worth of stuff! This stateroom has the single steamer trunk.
Noise issues - some vibration during docking as well as when the ship was at full speed, but had very little hallway noise (no rooms across the hall) or noise from other decks. The ceiling was a bit squeaky, especially when the seas were a bit rough.
We suggest leaving the bathroom doors open - there was a bit of an odor from the drains, but it dissipates with a bit of fresh air.
We were about 5 doors aft of the aft stairs/elevators, so the stateroom was convenient to 2 of 3 restaurants: Parrot Cay (Deck 3 aft) and Animator's Palate (Deck 4 aft) as well as Buena Vista Theater (Deck 5 aft) and the "secret" Deck 7 aft open deck area [NOTE: only open 7a-7p] The stateroom was relatively convenient to Beach Blanket Buffet & drink station (deck 9 aft). The elevators were busy during mealtimes - consider taking the stairs if possible.
Special views - overlooks Castaway Cay, the Puerto Vallarta dock and the Arch Rocks at Cabo San Lucas.

Notes: Loved the location of this cabin. Close to Aft elevators, since we were pretty far aft, very little noise or traffic... When backing into Castaway, great view...Would stay in this cabin again. |

| Deck: 6 | Category: 5C | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 01/02/11 |
Notes: Sailed to Mexican Riviera in Jan 2012. Great room in a very quiet location on starboard aft. Quite spacious except when walking around the bed. Online this looks like an adjoining room - fear not, it isn't. Very close to the aft stairs so handy to walk up to the beverage station and Beach Blanket Buffet on Deck 9. Short walk up the corridor to the laundry with lots of machines and 2 irons. Very comfortable bed with great towel animals daily from our lovely host Darrel. Great views from the balcony while anchored in Cabo and on way back to LA. Would definitely book room 6628 again. |
| Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 6628 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 6 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 03/20/10 |
Notes: We really liked this room. It was far enough back that the only people on the hall were people who had rooms there. Across the hall is a service area that was quiet. The aft elevators and stairs were close by so it was very convenient. Very comfortable bed. We would take this room again in a heartbeat. |
| Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 6628 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 6 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 10/17/09 |
Notes: excellent room, clear verandah. Nice view of the western car. islands, particularly CC. furniture in excellent shape (bed not so comfy, but probably the same in all rooms). 1 queen bed and 1 folding couch.
we rebooked this room for our next cruise. |
| Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 6628 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 6 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 01/05/06 |
Notes: We were a bit worried about being further aft than we have been before, but this was a great location! Easy to figure out where your room is since the Aft Lifts are right nearby! Quiet hallway, and really nice views. We saw Castaway Cay from our Verandah, but not really any other ports. Stateroom is roomy, but if you put a Pack-N-Play in there, you do get cramped! Lots of storage space, love the split bath and having the tub for the baby! Plexiglass verandah for this stateroom. |
| Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 6628 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 6 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 11/13/04 |
Notes: We loved this location - very near to the Aft elevators and stairs that were never crowded. We found the room very quiet - it is a 'dead end' hall with little traffic. Would request it again. |
