Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 7012 Report
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 7012 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 7 | Category: 9 | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 11/13/11 |
Notes: Because of the location in the forward of the ship there was not much noise at all. I am glad we upgraded to the portal (window) room, waking up in the morning to a beautiful view and sunrises / sunsets out on the ocean were well worth it. Although a little bit of a walk to the elevator it was not an inconvenience at all, helped working off the buffet. Room was very well kept and clean. I was very impressed with the size of the portal and my daughter loved laying on the cushion in the window with an ice cream cone enjoying the view of the sea. Learned after the first night that the couch bed crowds the room and is a little uncomfortable. This was easily fixed by talking to the stateroom attendant who set up the drop down bed for our daughter instead. She liked that one much better as she could lay and look out the window. It did block 3 drawers in the dresser, but wasn't an issue. If I absolutely needed something the bed is on springs and even my daughter could lift it. All in all, I would definitely book another cruise in this stateroom.....OH wait, I already did! |
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 7012 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 7 | Category: 8C | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 03/27/11 |
Notes: Didn't notice any noise other than occasional muffled voices (if they were loud i.e. children crying) from connecting stateroom next door. Using Murphy bed and couch bed gets kind of crowded. At night there isn't a good place to put the chair and table that are in that area of the room when those beds are closed. Difficult to get into the drawers in the desk area at night due to the furniture placement. |
| Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7012 | Condition: 4 |
| Deck: 7 | Category: 8 | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 02/02/08 |
Notes: Having stayed in cat 8 rooms previously, I knew what to expect for size and amenities. Same as cat 5 - 7 with a large window instead of a verandah.
The location on deck 7 was OK. A few decks up to deck 9 but a long way down to the remaining parts of the ship - the restaurants, shows, shops. It seemed like I needed to take the elevator frequently. The one good thing is that the forward elevators are not as crowded as the mid or aft elevators so you can usually get into an elevator that stops for you.
As this was a deck with only staterooms, it was noisier than my stays on deck 5 forward. More foot traffic and more hallway noise. I prefer deck 5 for cat 8 rooms.

| Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 7012 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 7 | Category: 8 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 10/14/07 |
Notes: We loved the location of our stateroom. It was near elevators and once we went down a few floors, we were really close to the Oceaneer's club. I would definately choose this stateroom again. We had plenty of room, a nice sit down desk area with electrical outlet where I plugged in my blow driver and got ready, split bath, shampoo, conditioner, and body cream provided. It was great! |
| Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7012 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 7 | Category: 8 | Location: Forward |
| Sail Date: 04/02/05 |
Notes: Plenty of storage and room, in great condition, quiet area at front of ship, little traffic, convenient to pools, shows, restaurants. Love this area of the ship. |
