Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 7062 Report
| Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7062 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 7 | Category: 5A | Location: Mid |
| Sail Date: 08/17/12 |
Notes: Great location, easy to go up 2 flights stairs to topsiders/beverage station/pools, easy to walk downstairs to everything else when elevators get full. noise was from people walking down hallways which would be anywhere not just near elevators banks.Never heard and mechanical noise from anything. Room was in good repair except for a broken drawer which magically was fixed the 2nd night without asking. Hallway carpeting well worn, but consider the amount of barefoot traffic it gets. View was of dock at castaway cay, but since flying dutchman removed was fine. Not exciting at Nassau another ship was adjacent but could still see atlantis. Felt ship moving more on lower decks then on upper, thought it was supposed to be the other way around. Space is tight, but not uncomfortable. Bathroom areas are really tight, but you get used to it. More than enough storage space for a family of 4 using closets, drawers and storage trunk in room, could have used a few more hangers. Make magnets for your stateroom door it really does make it more fun and easy to identify your room for the kids. Bed spreads a bit worn but fine, overall room condition great. No plumbing problems, no water backups, water pressure horrible so rinsing shampoo out of your hair is difficult. Veranda was in great condition, 2 chairs and a table space was more space then I expected. Wind was not an issue ever even during windy days. Was able to eat room service outside. Even though our view was not of the beaches etc. didn't matter as much as I thought it might. You are going into each port and not haning out all day admiring the view. as far as viewing fireworks on pirate night, just arrive a little early and go to deck 10 starboard side and you can see fine. Actually anywhere on deck 10 in between the stacks is great viewing.Find the secret deck on deck 7 it is worth it. WOuld have liked to have a real refridgerator, but rarely needed to place much into it. So easy to run up to deck 9 and get what we needed. Wave phones not helpful the reception is spotty at best and ou cannot hear anyone in public areas anyway. Upper bunk railing ok, looks a bit flimsy but is pretty strong and wall is on the other side with small glow light. overall room was better then I expected for space and comfort. Veranda was a great extra if you can swing it. |
| Ship: Disney Wonder | Stateroom: 7062 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 7 | Category: 5 | Location: Mid |
| Sail Date: 01/03/10 |
Notes: Clean, comfortable, just enough storage for a family of four and very convenient to the stairs/elevators and the kids' club. We wish it had a docked view of Castaway Cay, but overall we thought it was a prime central location. |
| Ship: Disney Magic | Stateroom: 7062 | Condition: 3 |
| Deck: 7 | Category: 5 | Location: Mid |
| Sail Date: 10/25/08 |
Notes: There was a noise in the wall next to our bed that sounded like a bird flapping its wings all night long on 2 nights.
It was convenient to mid ship elevators and such.
No special views and not on island view side for Castaway Key when docked.
Plenty of room for a family of 4.
One complaint...when we turned on the shower the drain under the sink would over flow onto the floor with dirty (sewer?) water. It left an extremely disgusting odor throughout the cabin. They did not resolve the issue the first time we called for maintenence and the second time it took over an hour to take care of. However, the odor remained off and on throughout our trip. GROSS!!! They stated it was due to having such rocky seas. |

| Sail Date: 10/11/08 |
Notes: We had this room and thought it was awsome and now a mere 2 weeks after us there were sewage problems.
The bathtub is perfect size for a 4 year old, my youngest loved it.
A little bit of wear and tear but overall very good. Only a few things to note. The door cover for the beverage cooler fit a little tight and gouged a fair bit but not noticeable when the door was shut.
There were some paint drops on the verandah deck and chairs.
That is all I can think of. The noise level was good, the cleanliness was good, the location was awsome. I'd take that room again but next cruise we've dropped a deck to #6. |

| Sail Date: 12/03/06 |
Notes: Great location, very close to mid-ship elavators, no noise and the verandah was great. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Re-booked for the same room before we got off the ship. |

| Deck: 7 | Category: 5 | Location: Mid |
| Sail Date: 11/06/05 |
Notes: It was convenient to almost everything d/t being close to stairs. There was plenty of room to store our stuff. The verandah was well worth it. The only thing was that it seemed that when we docked in port we would have liked to be on the other side to see the sites of the port. |

Notes: Great location mid-ship. Very convenient to stairs & elevators. Very quiet. 2 adults and 2 older teens (both over 6 ft tall) fit very comfortably - kids fit fine on sofa bed and bunk. Split bath was very helpful, especially in the AM. Veranda was nice touch! |
