Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 8648 Report

Notes: Great room and location. Easy access to aft elevators and stairs to Cabanas and pools. I heard a little more engine hum than I would have thought being this far up but not bad that it was bothersome. Room was in excellent condition and I was worried since it was a connecting room that we would hear the people next door (from the other review) but we didn't. I think it was an older couple with no kids, not sure if they could hear our noisy family! Agree with other review about closet doors. When they were open it was hard to get into the room or into the bathrooms. Sliders would have been better. My only issue (not to this room in specific but Verandahs in general) was that when the bunk bed was set up the kids had easy access to the Verandah upper lock. I thought that was poor design and the door should have opened the other way so the lock could have been on the other side so the kids would have not access to it. Not sure if all rooms are like this or just ones with bunk beds on the left side of the room.

Notes: Great room! No noise. Convenient to elevators to The District and Oceanears Club and Lab. Didn't like the closet doors. On the Magic and Wonder the doors slide open. On the Dream the doors swing open and get in the way reducing the amount of room to move about the cabin.

Notes: The aft location was very convenient to go to Cabanas and the soda station. No noise issues except the loud family next door. This is a connecting room so you do hear the family next door a little bit more.
