Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 9006 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: 8A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 08/09/14

Notes: We were a little nervous about the location so far forward, but this was a wonderful room! Very quiet, with minimal hall traffic. Never heard any engine noise or creaking that others have reported. No issues with motion of the ship with being so far forward (though admittedly we had good weather and relatively calm seas). We were just 2 decks down from the adult area on deck 11. Very easy walk to that area and the ice cream station! We usually skipped the elevators, but the forward ones were never very busy. Close to the laundry room, but since it was located on the other side of the ship we didn't get any of its noise or traffic. The views on Castaway Cay were limited, but we had a great view of the dock area in St. Thomas! The room had a murphy bed, fold out couch and queen. No bunk. It also had the very handy double bathroom. Would definitely stay in this area again!

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 9006 Condition: 4
Deck: 9 Category: 9B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 08/05/12

Notes: The room was comfortable and well thought out. We were a party of three. It was close to elevators and just around the corner from the laundry. We used the queen and the murphy bed and still had room. Two closets, multiple drawers, and a good size mini fridge. At Castaway Cay we were 'away' from the island once backed in. Our son loved being just below the mini-bridge used to dock the ship.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 9006 Condition: 5
Deck: 9 Category: Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 06/03/11

Notes: We had 9006 and 9008--connecting rooms. Very quiet, easy to get to for most things we did. GREAT rooms!! CLEAN, bathrooms were great, porthole with window seats were the kids favorite thing! Room has a king, pull out couch and a murphey bed...you can't put it up and down on your own, the hostess has to with a key...I'm sure for safety.
