Disney Cruise Line - Stateroom 9674 Report
| Ship: Disney Fantasy | Stateroom: 9674 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 9 | Category: 5C | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 12/01/12 |
Notes: AWESOME cabin! The verandah was huge, two lounge chairs, two regular chairs and a small table with plenty of room to spare. We did have sun as well. Close to the aft elevators with plenty of storage space for us (just DH and myself). |

Notes: This room had ample space- my husband and I got married on this cruise and this room had plenty of storage space for all of our luggage and wedding attire and accessories. The verandah is very long with two deck chairs and two loungers and it has fantastic views from every port. It's not a connecting room, and is very close to the aft elevators making access to Cabanas/ Palo/ Animator's Palate/ the District incredibly convenient! My only complaint is the engines/thrusters. It's loud and the entire room vibrates when you're leaving port and while docking, but otherwise this room was incredibly quiet. I think I would always choose an aft room if it wasn't for the vibration, but I'm a very light sleeper. If you're a heavy sleeper, this would be a great pick! |

Notes: Really enjoyed close walk upstairs to Cabanas and the pool deck. Loved being able to stow away our suitcases under the bed and all of the ample storage for our clothing. Only negative of the room, in 1 family member's opinion(mom's), is that due to being in the aft back by engines, the vibration(especially bad on 1st night and 2nd to last night) was excessive to point of almost making her nauseous at bedtime.Kids and
husband slept fine. Husband is an engineer himself and says that there's only so much that can be done to absorb such vibration from the massive engine power. He'd requested a technical info sheet on the ship and rec'd it!! Quite impressive. |
| Ship: Disney Fantasy | Stateroom: 9674 | Condition: 2 |
| Deck: 9 | Category: 5E | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 06/09/12 |
Notes: The size of the room and veranda was great. Loved the location, but after 1 1/2 nights of unbearable vibrations we had to change rooms. (This was my 8th DCL cruise, but the vibration was making my daughter and I sick). I hope they get the vibration problem fixed - this is a nice room. |
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 9674 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 9 | Category: 6A | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 11/27/11 |
Notes: This was the most *perfect* room for our family of 4!! Of course ALL rooms could stand to be a bit bigger... It is away from all the noise and had a great view (especially of CC since the aft of the ship faces the lovely island)! The verandah was quite spacious, but probably a little more breezy than some of the aft verandahs since we were on the VERY aft without much shelter. It definitely didn't bother us nor would I even consider this a negative. The elevators are very close and the pools are just a quick trip up 2 flights of stairs. We LOVED this stateroom on the Dream so much that we booked a similar room for next year aboard the Fantasy! Watch for next year's report of room 9172! ;) |
| Ship: Disney Dream | Stateroom: 9674 | Condition: 5 |
| Deck: 9 | Category: 6 | Location: Aft |
| Sail Date: 01/26/11 |
Notes: Non-connecting room, so nice and quiet. Aft view was great - especially of Castaway Cay. Deep verandah. White wall, but didn't block the view. Some engine vibration the morning we returned to Florida, otherwise not a bother. Only problem was the long walk to the restaurants/shops etc at Forward of ship! Would definitely choose the room again. |
