    magicofdisney1 - My family and I dined here on our most recent trip. In my opinion the service and atmosphere was great! Our waiter was really nice and checked on us frequently. We were lucky to have gone on a week day during a less busy time of the year and got in rather quickly. But, by the time we ordered it was packed and very loud and live during the duration of our dinner. By the time our food came it was cold and unappetizing. Our waiter and the manager took care of things quickly and the food was OK. We had visited a Planet Hollywood in Myrtle Beach before and the food was better, but the atmosphere here is great and live. I would recommend if you are going for drinks and appetizers and to see all the cool things they have to look at, but if you are going for the taste of the food, I wouldn't

    meeko987 - We made reservations months in advance and therefore didn't have any trouble getting in. The atmosphere, with costumes and props from both well-known and totally forgotten movies, is a load of fun. There are so many things to look at. Take the time to read the plaques near each item, even if you have to wander on other levels. Music videos from the past blast through speakers and on huge screens, helping to create a party atmosphere. It is certainly exciting, and it's fun to go there at least once, even if you'd be less and less excited with each future visit. The noise level was one of the worst I've experienced in recent memory. It is difficult to hear the person next to you, let alone the waitress at the end of the table. The food, overall, was better than we'd expected. My vegetarian fajitas were more fun to eat than delicious and the fries were pretty good. My wife's penne with broccoli was her favorite dish of our Disney World trip. The kids' pasta dishes were standard fare. Our service was attentive and friendly. The price will be a downside for some. Our bill with tip came to $110 (2 kids meals and 4 adult vegetarian/sandwich/salad meals - no alcohol). We don't let price dissuade us, especially the first time around. It's a vacation after all. Families on a tighter budget might want to reconsider.

    memaof3 - The food was wonderful. Staff was very friendly. We were late for our reservations because of airport delays, but we did not have to wait very long at all....they got us in quickly. The only con would be the noise level and crowded spaces but that is to be expected. I would highly recommend eating here!!

    ckd7899 - While I enjoyed my mushroom cheeseburger, I have to say this was not a pleasurable experience. This was our first day of arrival, and we decided on DTD to eat, and picked Planet Hollywood. We were given a 30 minute wait time, only to end up waiting much closer to an hour and a half. Our server was, to say the least, lousy. He was slow, and when asked about portion sizes, seemed exasperated. When I mentioned my boys sharing a kid's pizza, he rolled his eyes at me. (My boys are VERY small eaters, and I see no reason to waste money on something they won't eat.) At the end of the meal, the 18% gratuity was added to our bill, and I can guarantee you, if it has not been, this waiter would never have received this type of tip. I mentioned this to the manager on duty and was greeted with a very, so what type of attitude.

    Mannbl - Planet hollywood is so fun to look around. there are tons of really neat props and such directly from your favorite stars!! The downside is, the food is stuff I could get at applebees or chilis and there can be long waits once you sit down because it's very crowded. Just try to go when it's not a prime eating time!     eilasornivram - I ate at Planet Hollywood once in January 2010. I'll admit we had reservations but since we were so hungry we asked if we could be seated as soon as possible and after about 25 minutes we were seated. I enjoyed the food here. I ordered the Pasta with chicken and broccoli and it was very good. Most of the menu is fried/bar type of food so if you go there expecting fine dining you will be disappointed but I was very pleased. It left me full and satisfied. We also had a coupon from our Magic Your Way package which added another incentive to go there. I am going back to Disney this January and I will most definitely going to go back to Planet Hollywood.

    englishrose47 - My daughter LOVES this restaurant for the atmoshere, she is up taking pictures wjhile we wait for our food . We have ordered steaks and been well pleased and I have had the LA Lasanga which is unbelievably good but way to filling to eat it all !!Ther Granddaughters sure finished it off later that night though.The last time we were there they had a strange system for desserts on DDP , they were listed as for 2 to share which I did not like but I see the latest menus are not showing that. If you are alone the Free coupon is great for a lunch.

    disneydorks - The check in process is very confusing, if you don't have reservations go upstairs and give them your name, if you have reservations to the left of the steps is a covered area with a hostess stand, there you can check in with a reservation. You cant take your stroller inside you have to leave it down at the hostess stand as well. The food there is really good and we eat there all of the time. The atmosphere is really neat with all of the movie props, recently they have had a house DJ which kinda makes things fun. The L.A. Lasagna is amazing Ribs great Garlic Shrimp, spicy and good. And the World Famous Chicken Crunch is an amazing appetizer. The drinks are pretty reasonable and they did not skimp on alcohol the last time I was there. I can drink with the best of them but 2 margaritas I was feeling it there. The staff has always been very nice, and last time we were running late, typical Disney Buses, but they held our reservation. Also the little one was beyond tired they were nice enough to move us on a busy night to a larger table with a booth so he could lay down and fall asleep while we ate after the other group left.

    MissBritt - First and last time to PH was 01/31/2010. I had a snack-like lunch with my two teenage siblings on our departure day. We had the $15 meal voucher and decided to grab something light before getting on the road. This is the worst food I have had in all of Disney. We split the app sampler since we were not too hungry, and couldn't bring ourselves to finish any part of the 4 appetizers (for $19- thank goodness for that voucher). The place was very noisy, the tables too close, and the service only okay. The only highlight was the photo, which was spectacularly airbrushed, but too pricey. I will not return.

    mlangille - service was o.k, food what people might expect. Instead of opening up tables upstairs though, they were making people wait. We were seating outside the ball and felt like we missed a lot of great things to look at. I would refuse to sit anywhere you did not get a view of the ball from inside if I had to do it again. The piture we bought was one of the best ones of our trips. The gift for going is a key chain. To their credit we had reservations, 2 minutes before us, 200 high school students went in. It did not effect our wait times for food.

    oldtink - The waitress kept filling our glasses with soda, so we got really full off the drinks. The food was very good and there was a lot of it, but we were a party of 5 and could barely talk to each other because the music was so loud. In addition, our kids wanted to look at the memorablia but couldn't get near most of it because tables are too close.

    aduck126 - The food was mediocre at best. My bloody mary was served to me warm with 2 ice cubes that were pretty much melted in it already. I would have sent it back if I ever saw my waitress but she was nowhere to be found until it was time to pay. The room was noisy, crowded, and all an all around techno driven head ache inducing mess. I would never go here again even if I had all the 20.00 off Disney coupons in the world.

    Mgoblue44 - Maybe my pallet is just not very re-fined, but me and family really liked the food despite the poor reviews. Maybe it comes down to what you like, if you like basic - sandwich type - bar - ordinary food, then you'll probably be OK with the food. If your used to more sophisticated food, then probably you won't. It's still a fun place either way. Although our server was slow, she was still very polite and friendly.

    Madi100 - We had never eaten at a Planet Hollywood before, so we decided to give it a try. We were on the dining plan, and it all went smoothly. In comparison to the Disney restaurants, we felt we got more food. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, although service was a bit slow. I didn't get the feeling that they really cared if we enjoyed our meal or not. We should just be happy we are eating there. But, we did enjoy our food, so we left with a good experience. Had we had problems, I'm not sure they would have done much to help out. This restaurant was very loud and chaotic. You could easily get lost. Fun to say we've tried it once. Would recommend, but we don't necessarily need to go back.

    PIRATEGIRL007 - I have tried Planet Hollywood twice, once paying out of pocket and once with free voucher. It is not just bad it was nasty, both times. The food wasn't even average fast food fare quality and was cold on one of our dinners there. The service was not good either time, and we had to flag down our server to get out check and get out. Seems the voucher experience was even worse service, I guess since it was 'free' the server thought that meant less tip. The memorabilla and atmosphere are cute but nothing that you can't see anywhere else. It would be worth a walk in and around but don't waste your money here. We now attempt to give away our free voucher every trip, but sometimes can't even find someone to take it, that should be an indicator that Planet Hollywood is not a venue that deserves a repeat trip for anyone.

    ChoirBoy - I have a unique experience because I ate BREAKFAST here (something they don't normally do) with my class and another school after we sang in the candlelight processional. The food was only a mediocre buffet, but we had the whole place to ourselves to explore, and there was a DJ who was really involved and fun, doing trivia and games with us- at one point, me and a couple of guys were pulled up on stage and formed into a "boy band" to sing happy birthday to a girl. While this was a lot of fun, the food still wasn't very good, and I've heard from others it's pretty much the same during other meals, which is why I do not recommend this restaurant.

    PryncessChrysty - The food wasn't bad, but nothing memorable. IMO, the exterior is kind of an eye sore at DTD. The movie memorabilia is cool to look at, but not enough of a draw for me to go to the restaurant just to see it. If you're looking to save money and want to use the $15 voucher that you get with the MYW package, then it would be worth it. Otherwise, there are so many better options in the World.

    DisneyWorld Delight - Planet Hollywood Orlando is part of a chain. It is exactly like the others in my opinion. The food is good and the prices on the higher side. The restaurant itself is pretty neat to look around. Many props, video screens and a DJ is the entertainment. The wait to secure a seat in the evening is l.o.n.g. Usually 2 hours.


The Planet Hollywood Restaurant is part of a national chain. This location is one of the more unique as the exterior resembles a giant round globe. Inside there are three levels with amazing displays of authentic movie and television memorabilia.
