Karibuni and welcome to Jiko. New African cuisine is the focus at this unique restaurant. Open and airy, sculptured birds soar overhead. The heritage of Africa is reflected in the decor. The rings surrounding the tiled columns is in homage to the Padaung tribe whose woman wore distinctive neck rings. It's this attention to detail that sets Jiko apart. Tempting aromas from the twin wood burning stoves greet you. The menus are influenced by the cultures of Africa, the Mediterranean Coast, India and Europe. The expansive South African wine list is the most exclusive in the United States.
