The cuisine is "American and African" but there's more of the former than the latter offered.

Breakfast, served from 7:00-11:00am, includes sandwiches and platters, freshly made waffles, and pastries. Lunch/Dinner, served 11:00am-11:30pm, is fairly standard with salads, soups, burgers, chicken both grilled and fried and sandwiches. There's a great bakery that offers fresh baked treats throughout the day. The bakery is open from 6:00am-11:30pm.

The "Grab 'n Go" market is convenient if you don't want a hot meal.

Beverages include soft drinks, coffee, tea, milk, juice and beer. Full bottles of South African wine can be purchased.

The Mara Story...the Masai Mara National Reserve! About 275 kilometers/170 miles west of Nairobi, Masai Mara is part of the Serengeti ecosystem in Northern Tanzania.

It has existed as a game conservation area since 1889. The reserve consists of well-watered grassland plains, standing at an altitude of 1650 meters/5413 feet and crossed by two permanent rivers, the Mara and Talek. The Mara River in the southwest highlands flows southward for about 160 kilometers/100 miles, enters Tanzania, and turns westward to flow for almost another 160 kilometers/100 miles into Lake Victoria. The Western Kenyan Highlands are drained by a number of rivers that empty into Lake Victoria.
