    bellebookworm9 - In May 2010 we went here around 5pm. We chose the Verry Berry Sundae. This is the description from allears: strawberry cheesecake ice cream smothered with sliced strawberries under a layer of vanilla ice cream with blueberry topping, whipped cream, our chocolate-covered blueberries and a chocolate dipped waffle roll $7.95 This was huge and delicious. We polished it off in no time. Would absolutely return here.

    ncc1701 - Stop by twice on our trip the week of 11/14 for dessert after eating at WPE (didn't do DDP) Ice cream and sauces were great. Cash Register system seemed to have problems during our visit with Disney giftcards or people charging to their WDW Resort rooms. We just got scoops with sauce so the wait once we got the order in wasn't too bad.They do need more seating.

    dhocac0915 - My wife and arrived after park closing one night in september to a very crowded restaurant. We ordered and waited almost 30 minutes before notice that the were calling numbers past ours. We politely asked a very hard working and attentive young lady that was making desserts, and she immediately checked on it for us. Somehow our order got misplaced toward the back counter. They were very busy and sometimes things like this happen. The manager shows up,and we didn't even complain, we just inquired. He immediately comped us,we didn't even complain to him! This is more than I can say for Via Napoli in Epcot. We complained there upon much frustration and the manager offered me a refill on my water! Anyhow, great products, and really great service. Way to take care of your customers!!!

    littlemom25 - It was evening, huge crowd, little space, no seating. We had a 40 minute wait with 5 kids which was crazy. Their ordering system is messed up and a lot of the customers were cranky and complaining. We loved the hot fudge sundae though, it's worth a wait.

    Madi100 - The ice-cream is great, but I recommend sharing. Any of the sundaes can be very, very sweet and very filling. Be prepared to wait in very long lines and seating is very limited.

    Princess Figment - My husband and I stumbled into the wrong side of Ghiradelli, and were treated to free samples of chocolate. Yum. We then went next door and ordered a large chocolate milkshake, my absolute favorite from Ghiradelli in San Francisco. My husband wasn't sure if he also wanted some Kona ice cream, and the cashier was nice enough to go back and get him a sample, even though they were quite busy (Btw, thumbs down on the Kona- not a very good coffee flavor). We sat outside and people-watched while we waited for our shake. It took a very, very long time to arrive. Once it did, though, it was delicious. A perfect chocolatey concoction.

    aurorae - This is a must stop for me, just like a similar store in San Francisco is a must stop whenever I go there. I love their chocolate. It sometimes doesn't get great reviews in chocolate tastings, but it is among my favorite (and I am a chocolate snob!)

    nenner1 - We have stopped here for dessert every occasion we find ourselves in DTD. The quality of the ice cream is good, very rich... but I would enjoy having more variety in flavors to choose from. The toppings are delicious. As you would expect the hot fudge is decadent and silky. The single serve sundaes are good, although maybe a bit pricey. I had no trouble finishing mine. We have also tried the "Earthquake" which isa huge muti serving sundae similar to the "Kitchen Sink" at Beaches & Cream. The Earthquake seemed to be less substantial in comparison to the KS, as it does not contain toppings such as cookies and cake. We thought the ice cream here tasted a bit better though. We didn't quite get it all finished, needless to say. Very large drinks. One drawback is this joint is always hopping and there is relatively limited seating so you often find yourself hovering waiting for a table to open up. Overall this is a great place to stop for some delicious sweets if you don't mind the hustle and bustle and paying a bit more! (PS- stop by the shop next door and get a free sample of chocolate!)

    Carolinagal - We enjoy stopping at Ghiradelli's for a quick pick-me-up of chocolate. We find the prices of most of the sundaes to be a little high, but the smaller offerings (single scoop of ice cream, brownies and cookies) are great. The coffee and espressos are also very nice


A wonderful ice cream parlor with indoor and outdoor seating. Antique chocolate making equipment is displayed along with other special touches that bring back memories of days gone by.

There are two sections. One is the retail store where you can purchase Ghiaradelli chocolates and the Soda Shop where the ice cream is served.

This is a very popular spot, and it can get quite crowded. Be prepared for lines, especially in the evenings and on weekends.
