bellebookworm9 - In May 2010, my mom and I took a break from Downtown Disney to go explore the Port Orleans resorts. Before we headed back to DTD we wanted a drink of water, so we went in here. At first, it appeared nearly empty, as there were plenty of available tables. But then we saw the line...there was only one register open and a huge number of people waiting to be cashed out-the line stretched back past the drink cases towards the food station. We managed to wait until we got back to DTD before seeking out the nearest water vendor and sucking down a bottle each.

MissBritt - My husband and I had breakfast here on 12/16/09 as POR was the resort we were staying at. He had the Bounty Platter and I had the Mickey head waffles with fruit and bacon. We were on the DXDDP so we also got drinks to take with us and used our free refillable mugs with the meal. The bacon was a little gummy, but otherwise we were satisfied. We also stopped in several times for snacks from the bakery or icecream windows. This cafeteria boasts an extensive menu and large seating area, and we were very pleased with the cleanliness and staffing.

jazzyj - We had a few breakfasts and evening snacks here. Waffles and pancakes tasted good as well as the strawberries, bacon and sausage that came with the meal. Ample seating with tables spaced well apart. Nice staff.

Daycounter - I really like this food court. You can't go wrong when you can have your pasta dish made to order. They also have hand dipped ice cream and tasty bakery treats.

azdislover - Good number of choices. Like the "build your own" areas. You do get tired of the selections after a week, but we would go to the food court at POFQ to try out the bakery............YUM

bsusanmb - We enjoy this counter service. The menu changed since we were there 8 months ago. We love breakfast here. The lines move quickly. There are lots of choices for lunch and dinner. I do agree, that you do tire of the food after a week, but the offerings are good. I feel like I am at summer camp when I eat here. The staff is very pleasant

minnie74 - I have stayed in Value, Mod. and Deluxe Disney resorts. This is my favorite counter service restaurant of all of the places I've stayed at. The Make-your-own salad and pasta stations were always perfect! They had many options, and it always tasted fresh. The bakery here is exceptional as well. There is adequate seating between the inside/outside areas. The food court alone makes a stay at POR worthwhile!

oakmanner - We've eaten here many times over the years even way back when it was still Dixie Landings. A large counter service resturant all the basics breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lines move pretty quick considering how crowded it can get at peak dining times. After a week long vacation you will tend to tire of the menu. Good basic food!

peacefrogdog - Ate here for a couple of dinners. Overall it was nice to be able to choose from different 'shops' within this food court (grill shop, pizza shop). However the options available at each shop was nothing different from what I could get any cafeteria. Nothing really memorable about eating here.

crazytp93 - We loved eating at Riverside Mill when we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. The selections were excellent, and the portions plenty. Breakfast is great, with baked good selections, and also eggs, pancakes, waffles, french toast, anything you can think of! Now with Boatwright's closed for breakfast, this place will be a hot spot. For Lunch/Dinner there are stations for the Grill Shop: Burgers, Chicken, and Fish, Pizza and Pasta shop with a create your own pasta selection, Carving Station (my favorite) with beef and/or turkey and all the fixings, and a specialty shop with great sandwiches! The bakery offers yogurt, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes and cakes, magic bars, Mickey Rice Crisped treats, apple pie (great) and ice cream sundaes along with milkshakes. The food was always good, and that's why its getting a perfect rating.

Convenient Counter Service restaurant with a distinctive Southern flair.
