    stewoo - I am a very picky eater so when my group suggested eating here I was really skeptical. Thankfully, it worked out to be one of my favorite meals of our trip! The atmosphere is pretty loud, but it is that way on purpose, also I don't see it particularly appealing to kids. Where we were seated we didn't see the belly dancer, but I was okay with that because I was distracted by the excellent food. The meat was so tender it was perfect! The couscous was delightful, and it may have been because I was exhausted but the coffee was great. Dessert was also quite a treat here. I bet it's one of the lesser frequented places in the World Showcase because some people are unfamiliar with the cuisine- but it's not that unusual and it is really worth a try! The one real downside for me was that the bathroom was the dirtiest I've ever encountered in Disney. Which means it really wasn't that dirty but it was dirty enough to think "wow this is the dirtiest bathroom I've ever seen in Disney"

    tlcav - We decided to try Restaurant Marrakesh this November because it was one of the few places we have never eaten at Disney. We love to try new things and consider ourselves to be adventurous eaters. My husband and I ordered the lamb couscous and our kids (10 & 13) the chicken. The food was VERY bland and very disappointing. It was as if the food was not at all seasoned. The service was also poor. The restaurant was empty and it took them 15 minutes to come to the table and we were told that our waiter was late and would be with us shortly. My son has a peanut allergy and when i informed the waiter he said, he “thinks” that everything on the menu is nut free (incorrect). I then had to ask for the Chef (in all restaurants on the property the Chefs will come out and discuss food allergies, and in all the 50+ dinners we have had the waiters have told us the Chef will come out and tell us what is safe to eat). The belly dancer was entertaining, but the music was so loud that you can not even speak at the table. Overall, the bland food & poor service is not worth the $28+ a plate. Epcot has so much more to offer.

    StarRiDust - This restaurant is really underrated!!! It's really a great restaurant and because it's so underrated, usually you can get a reservation w/o any problems. The food was GREAT. My whole family enjoyed it. The only thing we weren't impressed with was the belly dancer!

    Redarrow5150 - Just not a place to take kids (ours were 11 & 13 yrs old)...especially young ones that are picky eaters. Sure they have a kids menu but really nothing to keep them entertained. For older adults or couples this would be great venue for food tasting.

    sasquatch - There is a new appetizer for two which includes hummus, baba ganoush, felafel, and taboolah, with crispy pita chips. The flavor of the hummus and baba ganoush was excellent, but the three felafel were served cold. The server brought three new falafel, but did not deliver them until our entrees were delivered as well. That was a negative aspect of the service. We also tried the Harira Soup, which was tasty and hearty. For an entree I had the Couscous M'Rouzia Fassi, which was very flavorful. It tasted exactly as I had imagined, but that's probably because my wife makes a chicken marrakesh dish recipe once a year, and has similar ingredients. The braised beef in the dish was perhaps overcooked, and could have been a bit more tender, but it was still fabulous, and with all the couscous, there was plenty. My wife had the chicken kabob, which was equally flavorful, and the chicken was juicy and tender. The belly dancing and accompanying music was entertaining for the eyes and the ears, and lasted about 20 minutes. My son (5 yrs. old) and daughter (6 yrs. old) joined the belly dancer on the dance floor, along with other children, for a dance. The children seemed to enjoy the interaction. What was nice about the belly dancing instruction is that it was done without words, so it did not interrupt the entertainment or the dining experience.

    MissBritt - DH and I had lunch here on 12/17/10. We were on the DXDDP, and wanted to try something new. We arrived 10 minutes early for our ADR, and were seated immediately in an empty dining area. Our server Rasheed was very polite and efficient, and the whole room was immaculately clean. Unfortunately, I had not known that the belly dancer would not be there during our meal, as this was one of the reasons we chose the place. We were not very hungry, so we shared a special "feast" platter that was being offered for $40- jasmina salad (perfect, and our server was kind enough to bring each of us our own), lamb (my first and last experience with lamb; even iron-stomach DH couldn't eat it), chicken kabobs (good), vegetable couscous (good), and bastilla for dessert (double portion for DH's birthday). Despite hating the duck and missing the entertainment, the atmosphere and service were wonderful, and we enjoyed the meal.

    xipetotec - This was our first time here. We have tried middle-eastern food before ( and like it ). THat being said, right off the bat, anyone who does not like "exotic" food might want to stay away. DW and I each had different kind of "kebab", which were delicious. For dessert, DW had the baklava, I had the the dessert bastilla. layers of filo with custard. It was amazing. The interior feels like stepping into a moroccan palace, complete with belly dancers entertaininig diners. fun fun place. First time, not the last.

    bryon - Being that this is one of the "smaller" counties in EPCOT and never have eaten Moroccan cuisine I didn't know what to expect. The theme inside was nice. I completly forgot I was at Disney. Food was good and portions was more than what we could eat. I think this is one of the most overlooked places to eat. If ever you find yourself wanting a sit down meal and you don't have an ADR, try here.

    jcb30093 - We love this kind of food and make it at home quite a bit. We had the dip appetizer and it was tasty though overly salty. We then split a veggie couscous dinner whihc was very, very bland. This food is usally bursting with falvors including citrus which we detected none of in anything. It was abnormally pricey for what we got. Just outside of the restaurant is a "fast food"/cafeteria style place that serves many similar dishes for smaller prices...we will likley try it next time. The atmosphere was incredibly loud...not festive...loud. Communication between the server and us and my wife and I was hindered. It was failry late int he day but it looked to me like a lot of patrons were not having a good time due to the loudness. Visit with care...the food is not bad...just below expectations. The atmosphere wasn't terrible...just too loud.

    Exomonia - We have eaten multiple times at Restaurant Marrakesh, and found it to be one of the hidden specialties of WDW. Each time we have eaten here the food has been great, and normally I would give this restaurant a 7 or 8. But early December we ate lunch here again and tried the Couscous M'Rouzia Fassi which was a new item. All were looking forward to it, and when it came out it didn't disappoint. Out of the fourteen nights at Disney World, this dish was a surprising highlight. I would definitely eat here again. Also the atmosphere of the restaurant was fun and service was good.

    evildiva - On my most recent vacation my friend and I dined here. I was completely disappointed with the entire experience. The front of the house staff were very nice and accomodating. However, eerything went downhill from there. The tables are so close together that you cannot help but talk to your neighbors. Not always a bad thing, but definitely not the place for private conversations. Our server came to our table asked, "What do you want?" and then expected us to give our drink and food orders. There was no explination of the menu, we were on the dining plan and there was no explination of what we were or were not entitled to. With a place full to the brim our food came out within 10 minutes. This may seem nice to some, but told me that all the food was pre-prepared and sitting in chaffing dishes. Our waitress was very abrupt and never once asked how we were or if she could help us or get us anything at all the entire night. Just because you are busy does not mean you cannot be polite.

    goodfood4ursoul - When we arrived at Epcot on Day 1, we met a lovely girl from RM out on the main walkway to promote RM- very friendly! We had reservations for day 7 lunch there. Day 7 lunch came and we went in to RM and they took our info and seated us and then ignored us totally for about 7 minutes. Just before we were about to get up and leave we were served water and given menus. The food was only ok- and for the price it ought to be better than that. The baklava was good though. But we felt unwelcome the entire time...

    sherrylynn99 - I did not like my food at all! The meat selections were inadequate for a restaurant, not a lot of choice here. The food tasted horrible! Maybe it's because I am not used to this type of food, but was trying to branch out. This experience has deterred much of that "branching" out! My husband, on the other hand, thought the food was "ok." I felt very much "with" all the other people, not private feeling at all, I actually was afraid to have a regular-tone conversation with my husband because everyone else would hear us. So much for our one romantic night out!

    mceranowski - Restaurant Marrakesh review: We are currently at WDW, and despite having read the reviews we decided to try Marrakesh. We were also told by a resort cast member this restaurant was not great, but couldn't change the reservation. There are a couple bright spots in the experience; the house wine at $20 for a 1liter carafe was surprisingly good (vs the normal $40 for the least expensive bottle at WDW), and the baklava was good. Unfortunately that is where food quality ceases to be acceptable, I would not again waste money or the dining plan at Marrakesh. We started with the appetizer for two. The jasmine salad was the best part of the app, both the chicken and beef rolls were bland. My wife wanted to try the soup So we split a bowl; bland again, garbanzo beans in the soup not lentils, no lamb in the soup. We both ordered the new item Couscous M'Rouzia Fassi because it sounded interesting; braised beef, carmelized onions, raisins, honey and almonds on couscous. The couscous was slightly better than what you can make at home from a box of Near East couscous. The onions, raisins, almonds in honey was pretty good, but the beef reminded me of pot roast that had been in a crockpot. I would guess you could gather all ingredients, put the beef in a crockpot, and several hours later make a meal of same or better quality for $4-5 per serving (not $28). The Tangerine Cafe was better and cheaper. Spend your money elsewhere.

    Mgoblue44 - If you were to read my other reviews on Disney, you'd see that I always have good things to say. However, I find it difficult to list anything positive here. Despite having ADR's, we still waited about 30 mins for our table. Once seated, our service was absolutely brutal. People sitting around with empty drinks with no waiter in sight. It took 45 mins to place our order and over 30 to get it. From start to finish we had 3 hours wrapped up here !! The only saving thing was that it was a late dinner with no plans afterwards, just stroll World Showcase. Be careful making any concrete plans after a dinner here. The food was just OK with small portions. Despite the length of time we were there, the belly dancer was only on stage for about 20 mins while we were there. Service really can make or break your opinion, but ours was so bad I'm not willing to give it a second chance on our 2010 trip.

    PIRATEGIRL007 - Restaurant Marrakesh was a delightful suprise. We were going to Disney during 'free dining' and one of the customer service reps recommended it when I was attempting to secure reservations. I took it as a backup choice with intent to cancel if I could find something else. When we arrived that week, my husband decided to just leave all our ADR's as is and give it a try. We are glad we did. Marrakesh was so different from any other food we had ever tried (don't get alot of Morroccan food in Tennessee). At the recommendation of our friendly and patient sever, we tried the dinner for 2 sampler platter type dish and it was excellent. The flavors were sweeter than I expected but it was such a great twist on everyday food. We loved the resturaunt atmosphere. It was more romantic than I would have ever imagined. The areas in general is in low light and the tables had a good amount of space between them. We loved the break from the hustle bustle environment you get so used to at Disney. We will definately return for another visit and would even recommend it to picky eaters if they are waiting to branch out. The menu has a decent variety of options and you should be able to find something to please you.

    JoQuo711 - I know a lot of people are fans of the dining room in Morocco as it really does transport you a world away from Epcot once you're inside, but I'm not as intrigued by it. I think it's rather dull and dreary inside, and it could use a renovation. That being said, the entertainment the restaurant provides (musician, belly dancer) is great, performing once every 60-90 minutes (ask when you get there). The food is good but not outstanding. Note that a lot of the food includes unusual flavors, but most are noted on the menu. The members of my group all ordered couscous dishes, and while we were satisfied, we also decided that the dishes were nothing we couldn't make ourselves at home, and as such, even though it was a lot of food, they were wildly expensive for what they were. Go once to see the dining room and for the entertainment, and then you can decide for yourself if you want to go back. It's almost guaranteed to get an ADR there (and even walk-ins most times of the year). After having eaten there twice, it definitely doesn't rank on my list of must-do restaurants at WDW.

    klam_chowder - Food was good tho not excellent as we'd expected it to be after eating at Tangerine Cafe on an earlier trip. Despite having ADRs and many tables being empty, we were seated on the top level far from the belly dancing/band and my seat faced directly into a serving station that had no door. An unattractive view for a sitdown dinner. I'd eat here again for the food but DH much preferred the flavors at the Tangerine Cafe - we'd definitely eat there before returning.

We had the sampler platter and a lamb dish and both were boring. The kids choices were also inadequate. I did enjoy the mint tea but only got one glass since the service was awful. Skip this one and go to the counter service nearby which has far better food.

    Tink rules - We ate lunch there on the dining plan last spring. It surprised us because we found alot on the menu that we liked. The desserts were a bit to be desired. They had belly dancing and other entertainment

    dustyraye - We have eaten here several times, and it is on our must-do list for future trips. The restaurant has a cool, serene feel to it, provising a wonderful respite from a hot day in World Showcase. The waitstaff is very gracious and friendly, and it seems that walk-ins are very often available. I think some people are afraid that the food will be spicy or have an odd flavor, but it is really wonderful. Yes, it is quite flavorful, but not spicy. Don't miss the Beef Brewat and Chicken Bastilla appetizers, or the cool, refreshing mint tea! On a recent visit, two of us shared an appetizer combo and one entree, and it was plenty of food for both of us. (And our server didn't bat an eye when we asked to share the entree.)

    Mish19 - I've eaten here the last two trips and enjoyed it both times. Between the friendly staff, the entertainment and the food I am surprised the restaurant isn't more crowded. We started with the mint tea and I am so addicted, I even asked for the recipe the last time! We were on the dining plan so we were really able to try a wide assortment. We had the Chicken Bastilla, it was ok, had a very interesting taste. Followed by the Shish Kebabs, which were wonderful! They tasted great and would definitely get it again. I believe my mom tried the Sultan Sampler and she said she enjoyed her meal as well. We ended our meal with dessert (a little small but we were very full so it was ok with us) - I had the Moroccan Symphony and really enjoyed the pastries, especially the baklava type. My mom had the Marrakesh Delight and she really enjoyed the mint ice cream. We'll be back and I actually hope it remains Epcot's little hidden secret.

    NWOhioAngela - A great little spot in Epcot World Showcase. A lot of people think the food is going to be too spicy and they stay away, but we didn't find that to be the case at all. The staff here is very friendly and professional and we enjoyed our dinner here. The belly dancing entertainment is fun, and family-friendly.
